After several nasty sewage backups in the basement shower of our 100 year old house which various drain companies cleared by snaking, Anta excavated the (finished) floor and replaced the clay pipe with PVC. I couldn't be happier with their price, professionalism, and the care they took to minimize the mess & damage, both inside as well as to our front (landscaped) lawn.

The refrigerator side of my 24 yr old Maytag side-by-side (RSD24A) had stopped cooling & there was frost buildup on the back wall of the freezer section. Joe (The Appliance Guy) quickly responded to my phonecall, turned up on time, easily identified & repaired the problem (a timer) for a reasonable fee. Very professional & friendly. I'd seen his 5 star rating on Homestars & am very glad I had him service my refrigerator instead of the booking offered by the 1-800 help line for Whirlpool (who now own Maytag) because: their call centre is located in the USA (not here in Canada); offers an 8 hour 'appointment window' requiring me to stay home a whole day; referred me to a Toronto repair service which has only a 1 star rating on Homestars; and suggested that since parts would be very hard to find for such an 'old' fridge, I might need to buy a new one (which -- coincidentally? -- the appliance repair service also sells... )
