This was our second project with Oborne. Again it was an amazing job. As before, John’s detailed estimate and plan for the project was very thorough and covered all aspects and options. We had considered a few different layouts and John’s input was instrumental in making our vision a reality! Jeff and Tim are fantastic and worked at our home daily - they were incredibly skilled in all areas of the project. They were always available and approachable and involved us with details and trouble shooting every step of the way. Jeff and Tim are incredibly conscientious about their worksite and kept it so clean, organized and safe. The project was completed within the predicted time frame , and on budget. Tim and Jeff were very flexible working around the timelines of all the different parts of the project according to a well laid out plan from start to finish. They are also so pleasant and professional which made the 3 month project so smooth and seamless that it didn’t feel like a huge impact on our home life! We love our new kitchen and open concept living area.

We recently hired Scott because we had a raccoon and other critters trying get under our deck. We were immediately impressed that Scott is available by phone to book a timely consult. Not only did Scott provide advice on the phone, but his on site visit was very thorough as he investigated "what" was potentially burrowing under our deck. He was also very thorough at explaining the procedure for securing our deck from critters and provided additional advice on how to manage critters in other parts of our yard. They are concerned about wildlife welfare as well as homeowner safety. We are very pleased with the screen that Scott installed around our deck and the extra measure he took to make sure that all wildlife was safely and securely out. The job was completed on the day/time specified and follow-up was immediate for any concerns. E-mail communication with this company is very efficient - the estimate, queries and online billing/payment was all very quick. We would highly recommend this company.

This was our first time renting a bin for a DIY renovation project and JUNK IT made the process quick and easy! The online ordering service and confirmation emails and invoicing are quick and thorough. Bin delivery and pick was right on schedule. We will definitely use JUNK IT for future projects.

FANTASTIC! That sums up our experience with Oborne Contracting. We renovated our basement - put in a new rec room, bathroom and laundry room. The entire renovation went smoothly - on budget, on time and amazing outcome! We were very impressed by John and his company from our very first meeting, and the quality time he spent with us and his detailed contract. John had a clear vision of our project and made many creative and practical suggestions to maximize our space both functionally and aesthetically. From that point on our experience was exceptional. The communication with Lori is excellent with keeping paperwork etc. on track. Everyone that worked in our home was very professional, knowledgeable and dedicated. Thank you to Ken, Troy, Colin, Dean, Carl and Wally. Ken and Troy's expertise is outstanding, and they were at our home every single day of the project like clockwork. Their worksite was kept remarkably clean, and more importantly - safe. Ken kept us informed on the progress and was available to meet with us whenever needed. They are very flexible and always encouraged our input to ensure our complete satisfaction. Ken and Colin are quick problem solvers and concerns were always dealt with immediately. They are extremely conscientious and take great pride in their final product. That makes for a fantastic experience for everyone. We are thoroughly enjoying our new space and look forward to future renovation endeavors with Oborne Contracting.
