Hello from Toronto

Luckie from Reken was very quick to respond to my urgent request. Shingles flew off with a wind storm which caused severe leaking in one of my bedrooms. This was close to Christmas holidays and a major snow and windstorm was approaching. They were willing to come out to check on it and eventually completed it as soon as the weather was clear enough for them to do the work safely. They even helped me clear my walkway of snow and helped me salt it. They went above and beyond and Im so grateful. I also love that its a family-owned business - very professional and reliable.

I contacted them via Canaduct which I found on Homestars. Had gone thru MANY heating companies to service a lemon/furnace that another company sold and installed. Other companies either could not figure out the problem, or did a Half job, or didn't return my calls. I was getting very frustrated. Finally, Delta was able to correctly diagnose and fix the problem. This year, another problem with furnace, they answered the call at night (I expected voice mail but got a live person!) and came at the promised time the next day. Fixed the problem within half an hour. Polite professional service, at reasonable prices. Very happy to have finally found a heating company that I can trust. Highly recommended.

I used Canaduct for both furnace repair and duct cleaning. I was so satisfied with the furnace work that I called back to have their duct folks come the next year. They serviced my furnace that was sold and installed by another heating company a few years ago which has had many problems since. I've gone through many heating repair companies and have never been satisfied, some tried to rip us off, others did a half job, others didn't return calls. Finally, with Delta (canaduct's heating cooling division) their technician managed to fix a very persistent problem that no one else could fix. I was so happy that the problem was finally correctly diagnosed and fixed. I recently had another, but different issue, with the furnace, I called them, they came the next day, at the time they said they would, and fixed it within half an hour. Again, very satisfied with the service. The duct cleaners were also excellent, happy with their work, I would highly recommend Canaduct to anyone looking for heating, cooling, and duct cleaning services. Reasonably priced. Very polite and professional.

i love the cabinets they refaced for us. They also constructed a unit for a built-in refrigerator and offered design ideas - we love our kitchen. the work was done extremely well. great service, great selection. its been three years since the installation and its was one of the best investments we made. highly recommended.

Although the granite that we received was of very high quality, our experience was marred by the actions of one of their managers. There was an installation problem. The staff/installers we dealt with were fine but that one manager was unprofessional. We eventually resolved the issue but if it wasn't for that manager, we would have given MM a 10. This is unfortunate because their stone products are beautiful.

Despite its name, this company does more than carpets. Ivan spent A LOT of time with us and was not afraid to give his opinion - which was great because it helped us narrow the wide selection and have a good understanding of the product we were buying. Marcelino did a great job installing the flooring and went above and beyond. We started with one floor one year then eventually changed the three remaining floors the following year. Great service and reasonable prices. I have recommended them to friends. A hidden gem.

Overall they were good but could be better. We got a lot of good quality products from them, some at great prices, but had an issue with one faucet that we had to return and exchange as it did not fit the counter we were installing, and they gave us a very difficult time with it even though they ok'd an exchange in advance. It took them months and a lot of following up to issue a refund for the difference. Because they are smaller than some competitors , I found them more personable and easier to work with, and gave us quite a bit of attention - which is great when you have a lot of questions. If they can improve on these issues, they can easily be 10+.

We found Curbz on Homestars back in 2010 when we were looking for a contractor to replace our front walkway/retaining wall. It was in such bad shape it had already fallen apart and had a huge gaping hole. We were initially looking to simply rebuild the walkway with the same pink interlocking bricks as we had no clue whatsoever about landscape design. The contractors we initially met with (at least the ones who bothered to respond) also seemed to have no clue about landscape design, offered no design ideas, and couldn't care less with our "small" project. As soon as we spoke with Ian, we knew Curbz was it. We were so impressed with Ian's enthusiasm, professionalism, passion, and ideas for our project. He got us to think more creatively with our space and suggested we use flagstone and armour stone, He came up with several design options that looked amazing. We decided to take the plunge and go for it. His crew came out and worked extremely hard, in unbelievable summer heat at times. They were very friendly, professional, courteous and took care to ensure our place was cleaned up at the end of the day. The end result - a stunning, gorgeous walkway that looked far more expensive than it cost. In fact, Ian went above and beyond and added more features (at no additional cost to us) as the project went along. Curbz cares for its projects like it's their own - it really shows. Curbz is an excellent company with excellent customer service, very highly recommended. We were so impressed with their walkway in 2010, we decided to take another plunge and re-do our backyard, front patio and front fence this year. This extensive reno is currently in progress. I will post another review with pics once all the work is done, but so far its absolutely stunning...
