I've used What a Pane a few years back for our new built and when I decided to gift the parents a new door insert I knew it had to be done by this company! Their work quality speaks for itself and it's an absolute pleasure to communicate with Barry as he's always prompt at responding to all inquiries. He even kept my request to have the door insert changed at an earlier time than our initial appointment as it was a Mother's day present. Thank you again, she loves her new insert!

I used David after someone referred us to him for our 2nd year home inspection on our newly built home. David was prompt/courteous and looked through everything very precisely. He listed things that a regular home owner would not be able to. But what impressed him most is he uses thermal imaging during the inspection and was able to detect the builder had missed adding insulation on our finished garage ceiling which results in a small area in our dining room always being cooler than other parts of the floor. Without him figuring our the exact location with proof it would be my words against the builders and we all know how much builders love to admit to their own mistakes. We were so pleased with his work that we referred him to our neighbours who had a very similar experience and currently will be using him again for my parents house inspection. Being in a newly built subdivision, us along with our 7 neighbours desperately needed our fencing completed for privacy. I contacted various fencing companies but CanDo Fencing came in at a very fair quote but more importantly Alon was very prompt and courteous at replying to all my questions/concerns and even came in for a meeting with all the home owners. He was replying to any questions I or the other home owners had via email, phone calls and even text message late at night/morning. It almost felt like Alon was working ONLY for our project, and that is something to be proud of as I'm sure he handles MANY projects at the same time. The trades that came in to do the work were also great! Very polite and did a great job. The fencing for all 8 houses were done in 2 days and they worked long hours. The quality of the finished product is what all of have been talking about...because we are able to see first hand the job the builder's fencing company did for the corner lots and compare it with Cando's high quality. The difference is quite clear, our fencing will definitely outlast most of the home owner's time in these beautiful homes. Overall could not be happier with the service and quality we've received from Cando Fencing and Alon!

We've gotten our inserts through What A Pane and are very happy with the job and the finished product. Barry is VERY prompt at replying to inquires and have been great. I would have left a 10 but the top part of our door was a custom order which was suppose to take 5 weeks but ended up taking almost 10 weeks. Thats the only hiccup we had with the company. But other than the delay Barry and the installer has been great. The door looks great!

I'm SO glad to have come across Silver Lining through Homestars! We wanted curtain rods attached to our bulkhead which needed carefully attention so the duct work behind it was not touched/punctured. After calling many so called "pros" and even having a few come into our house, Ricardo saved the day. He was prompt, knew exactly what I wanted done and attached our double curtain rods without any issue. Once he completed hanging the curtain and I realised how well he did the job I asked him to add a large photo in our dining room along with 2 vanity mirrors. The jobs were flawless and it was a pleasure having Ricardo do the work for us for a very fair price. Will definitely call him back when we need some more small work done around the house.

Replaced the roof of our previous home and the entire process was very smooth. The guys started the work they day we had to go for a day trip with the family, well when we came back the entire area was SOO clean that if it wasn't for the new shingles I dont think we'de even know the roof work was done that day. Roof held up perfectly the winter after installation and then we sold the house. Spiros was very prompt at responding to my phone calls and just a pleasure to work with. Price was very competitive and affordable!

Great service, the person who cleaned our ducts explained the entire process, showed the live video of the cleaning being done. The entire process was very smooth and we are happy to get all the construction debris out of our ducts! Already referred our neighbour to use them :)

Vule has 2 qualites which I think are BOTH equally important when chossing anyone to do any work around the house! #1 is his attention to details when working with tiles. #2 his extremly polite behaviour. We had Vule come and do our kitchen backsplash and install marble tiles with inserts in our foyer and we are VERY pleased with the entire process and the finished product. He was on time, and because we had to attend a wedding we requested the work be done in 3 days, well he put in extra long days and completed everything in 2.5 days! Vule and his associate was a pleasure to have around our house, and will definetly not look for anyone else for our future tile projects! I'm so glad I found him through HomeStars because the reviews are straight on. We are now enjoying our beautiful backsplash and foyer! THANK YOU!

I spoke to the owner, Alex and after speaking to many moving companies he sounded genuine. The only problem was he didnt have any reviews on Homestar, well he did only 1. So I was left with deciding to go with someone who has good reviews but sounded rude or going with a guy who sounded really honest but have no reviews online about their service. I bit the bullet and went with AR Moving and am SO glad I decided to risk it. Alex returned his calls promptly every single time and even suggested if I find a mover in Ajax I would be able to save some money as they probably wont charge a travel fee. But because I liked the way he gave me all the details and was always prompt in returning my calls, I decided it was worth the very small fee of $50 for travel fee. I had initially booked him for Feb 23, but had to change it due to babysitting issues to Feb 25th. Alex was great about it and said 2 movers would come at 11:30am. Moving day he called at 9:30am to make sure if I needed any wardrobe boxes, which we didnt need as we had everything packed and ready. My biggest concern was this HEAVY armour we have. When The Brick delivered it, they guys looked like they were about to faint...and even managed to dent one of our walls. It's a heavy piece. 11:24am the two Russian guys came to our driveway and looked to see what we have and started packing the truck right away. They were very polite, friendly and strong. We had a lot of boxes so loading up the truck took a bit longer but they were very careful especially with the armour. They took it down the stairs without any dents/scratches to the walls. Took them about 2.5 hours to load up the truck, which by the way was very clean. Then they took everything to the public Storage where we are storing the furniture until our house is built, and packed it without any inch to spare but again carefully. Because I had to meet someone they even suggested they can finish storing everything in the storage and lock it up and leave with the storage office. I've been very paranoid about being scammed, so for me to actually consider leaving means they've gained my trust. Im just so happy because now I dont have to look for another mover when we move from the storage to our new house, Alex and his team will be our choice without a doubt. The experience was just SOOO pleasant. I know with spring right around the corner, people will be moving in and out, so I hope you give them a call and see for yourself. A good, affordable, honest mover is hard to find, I'm glad I went with my gut feeling and used them. His rates are amazing as well, $50 traveling charge and $55/h with 2 movers. Total was $300 plus we tipped the 2 guys $30/each since they were REALLY pleasant, cheerful and hard working guys.
