Mat was part of the fantastic team of contractors that helped renovate our main floor / kitchen. We installed pot lights throughout the main floor and second floor hallway, installed dimmer switches, upgraded our outlets and light switches. Mat made some great suggestions that we had not thought of and most importantly for us- he fixed our outside lights which had actually never worked properly in the entire 25 years we have been here! The team were professional, always let us know when they expected to be at the house and even worked weekends to finish our job earlier than expected. We would most certainly use Lumiere for any future electrical work.

We just finished a main floor /kitchen renovation with MBC and could not have been happier with the results. More importantly, Max and his team were helpful, professional, and finished the job early! Not everything went as planned but when things went sideways, Max was there to help fix it, or work with us to achieve our goals. We had hired a previous GC that ended poorly- we are so lucky Max could work with us to correct those mistakes. Our main floor is easily the nicest part of our house! My pictures are terrible, mainly because we have not finished unpacking-suffice to say, the kitchen is gorgeous. Special shout out to the electrician, stair guy and painter- they were fantastic for making last minute changes and suggestions we had not thought about- just like Max actually! If you are looking to do any size renovation or construction with an aim toward quality and value, you should consider MBC Homes. They may not be the cheapest but they will be the best.

We are doing a full first floor kitchen renovation and needed a bunch of appliances moved to various places, and one aquarium moved to a different address. My husband thought we could do this ourselves but in my mind, if you qualify for the Denny's senior breakfast special, just hire Dmitri and his crew. The young men came out, moved our appliances, and wrapped our couches in plastic for storage in the garage for 3 months. You should ensure to add a few hours for shrink wrapping- it is done by hand and the young people are pretty fast but assume about 5 minutes per couch. Also, cushions have to be wrapped separately. We had to ask them to redo a few of the couches because they did not wrap them 100%, but they did it. When they moved our fridge, it would not fit so they removed the door and it appears something got broken and they did a temporary fix it appears (we donated the fridge to Habitat for Humanity). If you hire them, remember you paid a deposit- we almost forgot and overpaid the $100 deposit. Overall, well worth the price for the reduction in back aches, massages, and pain. Dmitri was excellent in keeping us in the loop with expectations. We did not know the names of the people that came, but they seemed great.

We purchased five kitchen appliances from CAS Mississauga paying in full June 2022. At that time, delivery of the Bosch dishwasher was unknown but our salesperson assured us she would take care of us. Our original schedule was for August; we had to fire our GC (that is another story/review) and ultimately pushed delivery to first week of December. In late September, the CAS 'system' notified me that the dishwashers were in. I reached out by email to our salesperson to see if everything was on track for first week of December. She did not respond. By November, I received another notice saying the dishwasher was on back order to February 2023. We went in to see the sales person and at that point we learned what we should have known before but were not told previously: 1. 9 days. They only guarantee delivery of stock if they have the item 9 days max from when you buy it and when they have it on hand. So, we should have taken delivery of the dishwasher in September. NB: I had asked our salesperson about this and she did not respond. She now claims she has 'screen shots' of emails from me saying I did not want to do that. I do not believe her and cannot find any such correspondence (she has not provided it either). 2. Pay extra delivery charges to get your appliances when or before you need them. We now face the likelihood of having no dishwasher for a year or more. 3. The only promise CAS makes on their website with respect to Customer Service is "Our dedicated staff of knowledgeable, friendly sales professionals will treat you like one of the family". Tells you what kind of family relations, right? 4. Dishwasher substitution- they offered us a 'better' model for 'lowest price'- regular price $2249 they offered it to us for $1899. We went home and researched to find it was not a better model, and happened to be on sale at CAS already for $1949. So their offer of restitution for the difficulty this has caused us is all of $50. Wow. 5. Our invoice alternately included Shipping & Delivery charges, and then did not. We paid the same amount of money so not sure why these keep coming and going. No one will explain what that is supposed to cover. 6. The 'system' where you book delivery does not let you set a date. Not sure why. These people kept calling me right after I entered the date in the system. They also asked whether this was a New Home or Renovation. Why should that matter? Bottom line- CAS has 412 complaints on the Better Business Bureau in the last 3 years, We have no choice but to finish off our deal since we literally have no kitchen. Once they get your money, you will be up the creek. UPDATE NOV 23, 2022- I think our salesperson has taken our comments to heart. She has upped her game and is managing our order significantly more than before. Our delivery for 5 items is set for Saturday and we will see how that goes but things are definitely better. My suggestion holds though- make sure you tell your sales person your expectations for them in managing delivery and understand the 9 days thing- it will save you both a lot of difficulty.
