I had 3 quotes for windows, and Galaxy was the most reasonable. Dimitri responded to all my calls and e-mails immediately. He came out to give an estimate and took the time to explain all the details and choices available. He also made some great suggestions for consistency of appearance in the front windows and the back windows. Alex and his son, were punctual, professional and very hard workers (I never saw them take a break the whole time). They entertained all my questions as they were installing. I liked the flashing they used that directs water away from the window. They were very thorough and were very tidy when they cleaned up. They even replaced the glass in an odd-sized window in the basement for me. I look forward to a more energy efficient home due to these windows and the excellent workmanship on the installation of them!

I am very happy with the installation of our furnace and air conditioner. Boris came out to give an estimate and was very thorough about explaining the process and the product (which is more than I can say about the other 2 estimates). He was also very accommodating when arranging the installation date, seeing that we had to install our water heater with a different company at the same time, and he was always giving helpful suggestions to make it easier. Oleh and his assistant were punctual, professional, and very meticulous with the installation. I liked how they levelled out the stand for the outside unit and paid close attention to all the details. They worked hard and were very tidy when cleaning up. We have only experienced the air conditioning so far, but I imagine the heating will work just a good.

I was long due for a furnace tune-up and thought that since the weather has been very 'Autumn'-like I'd get it done now. I actually called today and Rafi was able to visit our home the same day and within 30 min. (he had just finished a job nearby). I was very pleased with the service. Rafi was training a new technician, and took me through the entire system check letting me know the parts that might need to be replaced soon (17 year old system). I've had 2 other companies do yearly tune-ups for me and by far, this was the most thorough. He even gave me a CO read-out as part of the service and to ease my worries. Rafi and his apprentice were very professional, efficient, and quick to answer all my questions in a straight forward manner. I will definitely keep AFG Heating and Cooling Services in mind in the future.

I was totally impressed with how fast I was able to get this repair done, as well as with the fine workmanship done. I found Strong Plumbing Co through HomeStars and contacted Mr. Sasu via e-mail. He replied immediately, included a quote and said he would be available when I had arranged with the city for the water to be turned off from the street. Once this was arranged, Mr. Sasu showed up promptly, and completed the job in under an hour. He was very courteous and tidy (even wore shoe protectors upon entering our home!). Mr. Sasu also provided advice for some issues I had with other shut-off valves in the house. He even found the proper fitting hex wrench to loosen the set screw (and he greased it for easier access in the future) on my shower faucet . Mr. Sasu was true to his quote and went the extra mile by offering some useful tips. I would strongly recommend him and will definitely call him again if any plumbing issues arise.

Mike and his team created a very nice basement space for our family complete with rec. room, bathroom (vanity, toilet, and shower), laundryroom (sink, counter, and retractable hanging line), storage cupboard under the stairs, and office room with enclosed furnace area with sliding doors. We especially liked the tiling and glass shower wall in the bathroom! The washer and dryer doors swing open and clear the wall too!Mike dealt with us in a very professional manner. He was punctual and courteous. Mike always responded quickly and was attentive to our needs and many questions. He kept within our budget and was honest and upfront about all items that were additional costs. I was impressed with the framing (Tony works hard and is a perfectionist). I liked how the replacement plumbing created more space in the laundry room. The 2 wooden window frames were a nice touch. Thank you for rerouting the air conditioning lines and vents to keep the ceiling high in the office. Mike purchased and worked with all the materials and colours we had selected accommodating our wishes. His pricing was reasonable and you can really see the attention to the details in their workmanship. We would recommend Sonoma Contracting to our friends and family and will call on Mike for any future projects.
