I had to call them on a Sunday to come out and fix a valve that had broke while I was trying to winterize the garden hose lines. The shut off valve broke and was leaking water inside the basement of our home. We had a plumber there within an hour of calling and after explaining that we needed a new valve for two different hose lines (backyard and front yard) he recommended that he just cap the line to prevent the leak and that we could then make an appointment for them to come back during the week on regular time to do the rest of the work to save us paying for the work to be done on Sunday at a higher rate. So that is exactly what we did. He capped the line to stop the leak and a day or two later two plumbers returned to replace both valves. The work was done quickly and I was impressed that they didn't try to take advantage of us and do everything on the Sunday over time rate. We were just charged for an hour for the call on the Sunday. They will be our go to plumbers now. Highly recommend.

Called to see if someone could come and have a look at our furnace which was making a weird noise. They were able to send out a technician that evening to look at it for us. The repair was simple, the furnace door needed weather stripping around to prevent the noise which was caused by air pressure when the furnace was shutting down. We were just charged for a service call, no extra charges for it being in the evening or anything like that. The technician was friendly and professional and was able to diagnose the problem quickly and was able to give us a run down of known problems with the particular model of furnace we have (which they had repaired already for the previous home owners) and answered all of our questions. I would recommend this company and when we go to get a new furnace we will be calling on them to do the work.

We had water leaking into our electrical panel and had to have the local hydro company come by to shut off our power. Thunderstorms were on the way that evening. So the hydro crew gave us a few companies we could call to look into our issue. We gave LIT a call and within 30 minutes we had someone at our house looking into things for us. We have overhead power lines running to the house and the old post was not up to current standards and they were confident that replacing the old post and running a new line into the house would solve our problem. So they brought in a crew of four workers and within 4 hours we had a new post and line into our house, a new updated electrical panel from fuses to breakers and an upgraded service from 100amp to 200amp and our power was restored by the hydro company that same day. The crew worked quickly to get the job done for us on a hot summers afternoon so we would be able to get the power back on before the end of the hydro workers day. Their work held out that night through the thunderstorm and we are pleased to report that we have had no further leaks or issues whatsoever with the electrical system. Highly recommend. We will be calling them back when we get our basement finished to have them do all the electrical work. Very friendly and professional.

We had a sliding patio door converted into a window and a new fire rated garage entry door installed as well as a new front door. The work was delayed by a week while waiting for the windows to come in, but everything was done to our satisfaction. The storm door was a different story, we were forewarned about them having issues with the storm door company that had been taken over by an overseas company and sure enough they shipped the wrong sized door. However once the correct door came in they returned to install it. They even gave us a deal on capping some old wood trim around our garage door and our back patio doors. Everything looks great. Any questions we had were promptly answered and the owner and installers were professional and friendly.
