I had 8 different companies come in and provide me with a quote for 14 new windows as well as a sliding glass patio door over the course of several months. I would like to start of by mentioning that I shopped around for several weeks mostly utilizing HomeStars to reach out to several custom shutters companies before ultimately deciding to go with Steady Custom Shutters. I spoke to Mr. Lee on several occasions and informed him that were having all of the windows in our home replaced prior to getting brand new custom shutters installed. My wife and I decided to visit the show room where we were treated like family. Mr. Lee took the time to show us all of the different materials, sizes and styles of custom shutters that he could offer us. He even brought me into the back of his show room where the shutters are manufactured and showed us the process from start to finish. He also went the extra mile and instructed me to advise the window salesmen and installers about the window jamb size requirements to have my preferred louver size and style of custom shutters to be safely installed in the frame of each of our new windows. We scheduled a day to have the final window measurements done after the new windows were installed. Tony showed up on time as scheduled and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He helped us chose how to divide of shutters for each window and even made several recommendations that we hadn't even thought of. Overall our experience with Tony was excellent. We provided him with our deposit and he scheduled an install date 1.5 weeks later that accommodated our schedules. Fast forward to the installation date. The installers showed up as scheduled and began working immediately. They were very respectful of my house as they removed their shoes and asked if it was alright for them to go upstairs before proceeding to walk throughout my house. They completed installing all 13 window shutters in approximately 1.5 hours and the whole experience was extremely pleasant. They were very friendly, quiet and clean overall. The sales, manufacturing and installation processes were all excellent. My wife and I are extremely happy with the end product. The price couldn't be beat by any of the competitors that I contacted. The 25 year warranty was also an excellent selling point as it gives you piece of mind. I would highly recommend Steady Custom Shutters to anyone who's looking to install custom shutters throughout their home.
