Booking the move was easy and the staff was courteous and helpful. Unfortunately the actual move was a disaster. Most of my pieces of furniture have nicks and scrapes, some of it is brand new furniture. Because my mattress was shrink-wrapped, it is now lumpy. I have a chest of drawers that is now very wobbly because it was not packed correctly in the truck. One of my dining room table chairs was broken. A bed that they had to take apart to move was put back together incorrectly and the clips are nowhere to be found. Another piece of furniture was also wobbly, but with a friend I managed to tighten it back up. The clips to hold the shelves for a bookcase are missing. I don't expect to get any kind of compensation from this company. I asked if they could come and look at the damage, and my request was declined. I was just asked to take pictures and send them which I did. They are repairing my chair but who knows what that will look like. From what I've read from the others, they just get defensive with a bad review. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this company. I've moved many times over my lifetime and have never experienced such damage to my belongings. Pictures of the bed are attached. I wasn't planning to respond to your response but I feel that I have to because I keep finding problems. You seem to take the position that dents and damage is normal when moving. I wish you had told me that before I hired you. Today we found that the middle piece underneath another large chest of drawers was broken in the move and taped together by your movers. I'll attach a picture. Possibly your movers told you that they told me the other chest of drawers was wobbly, but that is just untrue. My son packs trucks for a living and he said that only happens when the truck is packed incorrectly. Almost every piece of my furniture is damaged, and I don't think you have the right to tell me what is acceptable to me and what is not. Oh and the reason I didn't use movers I had used previously is because they were friends, and I thought this time I would treat myself and hire someone. I am 68 years old and moving is stressful so hiring a moving company seemed to be the best idea. I'm glad that you have good reviews and maybe the majority of the time, your moves go well, but this time, it didn't.

I want to straight out a few points that you mentioned here, as unfortunately this review isn't 100% correct

1. all of your furniture was wrapped carefully with our moving blankets. The pictures that you sent us, shows a minor dents that barley can see in the eye and can happen during a move with any other moving company . if the movers damaged your furniture, we will take fully responsibility on that (like you mentioned about your chair that got broken)

2. a chest drawers can't start to became a wobbly because it didn't packed correctly in the truck, but only if it was installed incorrectly without be tighten enough. the chest that you mentioned was wobbly before the movers wrapped it with our blankets and they also mention that to you before carry it to the trunk

3. I asked the guys to take a look again on your bed and your bookshelve when they'll bring you back the chair

4. as the covid-19 pandemic is still around, we are minimizing the visiting at our customers houses. this is why we asked you to send us some pictures. we are able to deal online with any situation without any problem

5. we are never get defensive with any of our customers. when customer is providing his review, he's only shows one side. we here to provide our side. more than 90% from our customers are very satisfied from our service. I wish that we could make everyone happy but unfortunately it's impossible

from my experience in the moving industry, if you using with another moving company in your past and you are satisfied from the service that they provided you, usually you will hire them again without looking for another option.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are nothing that they claim to be except fast......fast to take your money. They are over-priced and do not stand behind their work. Sold me a toilet that never worked properly that I didn't need because the leak was caused from a pipe. When I tried to get a new and better toilet from them, all they did was argue. I ended up having to go to another company to replace the toilet. The plumber from the other company said he had heard a lot of complaints about Drain Rescue. He also said they had sold me a bad toilet. Don't believe what they wrote in their response. I haven't had any problems with the new toilet I got from a different company. Drain rescues never offered to fix the problem - they are just argumentative and defensive as you can see from their response. The reason I did not call sooner about the toilet they installed was because I was away. When I cam back we had to plunge the toilet every day. Don't miss the part when you read my review that I did not need a new toilet in the first place.

Unfortunately no company can provide a life time free of charge installation, re-installation, service for a simple toilet that customer disliked after half a year of usage. On Aug 20, 2018 we received a request from customer to investigate a leak in the ceiling below the washroom. Within an hour our technician went to the customer to investigate the leak. We have not heard from the customer until two months later when customer called to request a technician because the toilet was clogged. Our technician went to the customer and unclogged the toilet. If the toilet was bad from the beginning (as per customer’s statement) it would have clogged sooner than few months after it was installed. Customer called us a few days after unclogging her toilet complaining that she does not like the new toilet and would like her old toilet back. It was impossible to get her old toilet back as it was already disposed.
Even though we disagree with customer that the toilet we installed was faulty, we tried to resolve this issue by offering to refund money for the toilet we installed and to install a new toilet (purchased by customer) free of charge – customer declined the offer.
