After the original central vacuum motor burned out, we bought a new one from Cardy. Very reasonably priced, they didn't try to push us into an upsell at all. Very frank in dealing with you on your terms. When the carpet beater died, they offered a good opinion on what we should do. Told us that the newer ones don't last as long, but that the older one would cost more to repair and left the decision with us, again, rather than trying to force us into one decision or another

We've been using these guys ever since we moved into the house 20 years ago. Never had an issue with them. You can either dig the hole to your bed access yourself, or pay them to do it for you. After having the bed drained on time, the guy commented how it would be easier to access if we built a permanent entry over top of it, then offered to build one for us. He came back on his own time and built a box to cover it up to lawn height. Great service!

We switched to this company after hearing about them from our neighbour. What a difference from the guy we were using before! Prompt, courteous service, nice guys to talk with, and they don't mind explaining. They figured out what the previous repairman had bungled and fixed it quickly. We have a ground source heat pump, which is uncommon but they are still qualified to fix it!

We had been using this guy to repair our ground source heat pump for the longest time, because we had thought other services couldn't deal with that kind of a system. He specialises in ground source heat pumps. He's very squirrely and constantly pushing back times for deliveries and repair work. We recently found another company and had them install a thermostat. Apparently the guy at Donwel had wired everything up correctly, but used the wrong colour coded cables to connect. Easy for him to understand, but not others.

We've been using this guy forever. He's gone from the back of a minivan loaded with tools to a couple of large delivery van sized mobile toolsheds. He's always helpful, willing to explain and take time for you. Used him on everything from our snowblower, rototiller and our lawnmower. Plan to keep using him, and definitely recommending him
