Cant say enough about the ease & satisfaction of this install. Ryan R. came to measure and made many helpful suggestions as we were figuring out our needs. The installers (Matt & Cole) were amazing. Friendly efficient and meticulous. Also one of the rare trades that cleaned up after themselves as they went along. We would highly recommend Speyside Window to anyone looking for new windows. We were left hi and dry by a Furnace Cleaning Co. as when they finished the cleaning they couldn’t get the furnace running again. Told us it was up to us to phone a heating company. We contacted Harmony who had a technician out within a couple of hours. Unfortunately he was not able to get the furnace working due to complications from the cleaning company and because of the age of our furnace didn’t think it was worth fixing. By now it Friday night approximately 9:30 p.m. and he contacted Anthony to come and bring us some space heaters as it was a very cold night, and to scope out the situation. He concurred with his tech’s findings so he gave us a quote on a Furnace best suited to our needs. He did not seem the least upset to be going through all this with us at what was now 11:30. He contacted us Monday morning to say his crew would be there first thing Tuesday morning. Well they arrived on time, were very professional, efficient, friendly and lastly cleaned up after themselves. We actually enjoyed our installation day as they made it all so easy. Thank you to everyone at Harmony Heating who helped make an incredibly frustrating situation into something that gave us back our trust in contractors and also to see that customer service does exist. After having our furnace cleaned by a cleaning company, we were left on a cold Friday night with a none working furnace and told it was our problem. (That’s a whole other story) Well we contacted Harmony Heating and they sent a service tech out immediately. Upon checking out the furnace, he advised us that the cost to fix it after what had been done to the wiring & also due to the age of our furnace didn’t make economical sense. He apsaid he liked contact his office and have someone come out and give us a quote on gettin a new furnace. Well by now it was around 9:30 p.m. but Anthony still came out and when he arrived he came with numerous space heaters to help keep our house warm in the interim. He scooped out the situation and looked at our home in order to,help us pick a furnace that worked best for our needs. By the time he left that evening it was 11:30 in a Friday evening and he seemed not the least worried to be out helping us at that time of night. He said he would need to wait till Monday to make all the arrangements and he called back on Monday to say they would be here first thing Tuesday morning. They arrived on time, were professional, efficient and friendly. I can’t stress enough how nice it was to get such excellent service and deal with people who actually cared about their clients and the quality of service they provided. It gave us renewed faith that those type of contractors DO still exist. Thank you to everyone from Harmony Heating who helped in this process. Ingrid & Garry

Had furnace and ducts cleaned but after the work the furnace would not come on again. A second individual was called in and he tried as well but in the process also played with some of the wires and apparently blew 2 transformers. Several hours later sill no furnace and they said there was nothing else they could do and that we should call a furnace company. We are by now into a Friday night so we’re now looking at paying weekend rates for the service call. When the gentleman arrived he worked on things for a while but eventually said that he could not figure out what the other firm had done with the wiring but he felt that it was the main board that was gone. To get the parts and do the job with weekend rates would cost way more than it was worth putting into our furnace because of its age so he recommended we get a quote for a new furnace and made the arrangements with his company. By now it was 10:00 at night but they still came and brought some heaters to tide us over and gave us a quote and the work is being done as we speak. We contacted the cleaning firm on Monday to explain what had happened and asked what we could do and they basically said that it was our problem. Now remember, we had a working furnace before they came, so to me they have to take some responsibility. We have now been told that someone higherup the ladder is to call us but at this point we have heard nothing. So needless to say we would not recommend this company as a result of our very unsatisfactory situation.
