I am very satisfied with the blinds and shutters that I had installed through budget blinds. I had three consultations with various businesses and Budget Blinds came in at the lowest cost. I usually don't go for the company with the lowest quote but in this case they had a much wider selection and customization options then the other companies, a great warranty, and reasonable installation costs. I had 11 windows done in total. 5 of the windows with outside mount shutters and 6 with inside mount wood blinds. The quality is great and they have really added to the aesthetics of the house. Installation was completed on time which was great becasue I was under a tight deadline. The other quotes I got were for $10,000 and $6,000 from sears and indecor and to be honest the products shown to me by budget blinds seemed like the same if not better quality. I would hire them again and have recommended them to all my friends.

We ordered a storage container from pods durring our basment renovation and had it for 3 months. We liked how the storage container is droped off right outside your house so that you can move things in at your leisure. I also liked the fact that we ordered the container online at 10pm stating we wanted it ASAP and to our suprise it was there when we woke up the next morning at 8am. The price is reasonable but you will be paying more for the convinence. The cost is roughly $150 a month. At least it was for us. They also charge around $50 for delivery and another $50 for pickup. We did not like the fact that they do not do pickups on sundays. Our last month was up on a sunday and we told them to pick it up at the end of the month. They didn't pick it up till the following monday and they charged us for another full month even though we no longer had the container. I called customer support and they issued a refund but it did take awhile for the adjustment to show up on our bill.

We hired hot shots to install a rough in for our basement bathroom. Even though it was a messy job beacuse of all the concrete and dirt they did not leave a trace when they were done. They even vacumned the stairs when they were done. They even came back a few months later to cut off the pipes when we were ready to install the fixtures and broke up the concrete and repored it after we found that the shower base was 1/2 an inch off. I told them it was no big deal and we would just get a thinner cement board for the walls to make up for the 1/2 inch but they insited they redo it untill it's perfect. I found this to be very good customer service. The men were also very friendly and humorous as well. We are very satisfied with the work they did. I also liked the fact that you pay for the job and not by the hour! Even when they had to spend another day fixing the 1/2 inch that the pipe was off I was not charged anymore money. The price was very reasonable too.

We were generally pleased with the kitchen cabinets we purchased and had installed through kitchen craft. Their selection of products, designs, and colours is very extensive and they have designers on staff to help you plan a layout that works best for you. I find the quality is good on their higher quality products such as the sold wood (maple or oak) but was not impressed with the lesser quality products (especially because the price difference was not that much). Some concerns I had were as follows: They did not take my husband and I very seriously and we felt like more of a burden than valued customers. The designer also didn't give much input on his own ideas for the space which we would have liked since we are not expects like he was. Once the cabinets were installed we found that some of the cabinet faces were scratched but they replaced them without a hassle. They were also 3 and a half inches off on one of the cabinets and it did not extend to the end of the breakfast bar as we had originally planned. We were told that they had done this on purpose so that the cabinet would fit through the door but I didn't buy it. They didn't remake the cabinet, instead saying they would "work something out" in terms of a discount, but we never received anything. After everything was installed we payed the remaining balance for the cabinets and thought everything was over. However months later we received a letter from collections saying we still owed them around $7?? You can imagine we were upset because we thought we had already paid in full and had already received all our receipts proving that fact. I went down to the office in person and asked why we received a letter from collections for the $7 which seemed like a ridiculous amount to claim in the first place and asked why they simply did not call when they found out they made a mistake when they took our final payment instead of sending it to collections. We would have gladly paid the measly $7. They did not apologize and just asked for the $7 and were not willing to look at the statements I had brought along. To summarize : Not very pleased with the customer service of this company, product quality was good.

We just love our polar windows, they look great and they have helped to reduce the noise from the road in front of our house. We went with triple pane windows with crank outs. The quality is top notch and the price was very reasonable compared to other estimates we had for lesser quality products. They took our old windows away and even though one of the old windows broke as they took it out they didn't leave a single piece of glass behind. My only concern came when we had a home evaluation done and discovered that the windows leaked air where the windows meet the frame. We fixed this ourselves by siliconing around the windows on the interior and exterior and found that this fixed the problem. However, I believe this was more of a problem with our existing wood frames than how they installed the windows.

After having our hydro eco energy grant evaluation done in our home we discovered we did not have any insulation in the exterior wall cavities of our home so we began the search for a contractor. A coworker told me about Warm Home Insulation ltd and we decided to give them a call. They responded to our estimate request right away and were on time for the appointment. They also took care of all of the measurements and paperwork that hydro would need for our rebate. They were always very professional, and prompt in their replies through phone and email. The products they use are also great quality. We are expecting a decline in our heating bills thanks to the work they have done.
