I had requested a drain auger from the basement with removal of toilet and auger all the way to the city line. There were not many large roots further out the pipe, so the technician suggested to me that there is no point to have the large equipment brought in and pay extra money so he brought a smaller apparatus that would address a problem closer to the base of the drain that would cost significantly less and do the job. Dave, the Plumber found a huge clump of roots in the drain pipe and successfully removed this obstruction. It was pleasant that he explained how everything works to me, and also gave me great advice on what possibly might needed updating. The plumber was prompt, courteous and helpful. If you’ve ever had a plumbing disaster this is an amazing perk!
