Kyle is our "go-to" electrician. He's been to our house at various times over the past few months as we work through different upgrading projects in an older home that we purchased. Kyle has replaced faulty electrical outlets, removed unwanted outlets, capped off unwanted wall sconces, upgraded light switches, added dimmer switches and installed various light fixtures. He is always punctual and is efficient in getting the jobs done. He knows his trade well as is competitively priced. Besides this, he is always pleasant and provides helpful advice. Kyle is one of the "good guys" out there who lives up to the name of his company.

Protech technicians Sterling and Jesse disconnected and removed a three-sided gas fireplace. They were prompt for the appointment, personable, knowledgeable about the task and efficient in getting the work done. They made sure that we understood ahead of time what damage might occur with the fireplace removal. They proceeded to remove the fireplace with no damage whatsoever. Once the work was complete, they explained what they had done and provided diagrams and pictures of the location of the old gas line for future reference. They addressed the exposed wall by adding insulation and vapour barrier to prepare it for drywall and sealed the exterior vent hole. They left the job site immaculate. They were professional from start to finish. We would not hesitate to recommend this company to others and we would use them again for future work.

We recently moved into a 19-year-old home and discovered that all outlets (around 50) had "stab wiring," a potential electrical hazard (as shown by one burned/melted outlet that we found). We required a quick turnaround for some electrical work. We needed to disconnect some plugs and a light fixture to allow them to be hidden behind new drywall that was in the process of being installed. 24-7 Electric was willing to do this small job, and responded in a short timeframe. The electrician who came, Nate, was courteous and professional. Before doing the work, he made it clear what needed to be done and the cost that would be involved. He also advised us of the company's warranty and his own qualifications. Nate did the work efficiently. He had all the equipment and parts at the ready, even for work that came up "on the spot." He replaced two other plugs that we were having problems with, explained the problem and advised us of potential issues with other ones. There was no "high pressure" sales to do any other work: just advice. He patiently answered questions about future work that we have planned, and provided us with an estimate for that work. We would use 24-7 Electric again in the future, and we would recommend this company to others needing similar work done.

We recently purchased a home that needed two 19-year-old furnaces and non-working humidifiers replaced, and heating runs extended into a "finished" basement. After researching furnaces and receiving quotes, we decided to go with Knight Plumbing, Heating and AC. The quote was fair and the technician, Kevin, explained everything up front and answered questions. Kevin and his team completed the installation within the given timeframe. Kevin was able to troubleshoot unforeseen issues related to the way the basement had been finished to extend the heat runs. While we couldn't put in as many heat runs as originally planned, Kevin was able to place the ones he could in a way that works well for the space. He adjusted the invoice accordingly, which we felt was honest. The service was efficient, the price was fair and Kevin and his team were knowledgeable and respectful.

We recently moved into a home that needed both the interior and exterior windows thoroughly cleaned as well as a hard-to-reach chandelier.
