RB in Scarborough

I had previously used Maplewood and had been pleased with their service. This fall I called them to schedule furnace servicing and to diagnose and fix a leaky furnace humidifier. After four weeks of calls and tentative and then cancelled appointments on their part I gave up. The final call two weeks ago was to say that the appt. booked for a few days later had to be cancelled and have not called back since. I was very disappointed in their lack of service particularly since I was a return customer. If the company couldn't accommodate me I wish they would have told me and not wasted my time.

I had received a quote from another roofer that left me gasping for breath and made me seriously question whether my roof was really that bad. When Spiros arrived to give me a quote it was very quickly apparent that he had seen thousands of roofs and roofing scenarios. He took plenty of time to answer all of my questions and educate me. Additionally he made it clear what was necessary and what was a nice to have. I felt completely confident in hiring his company to do the work. The work was completed on a sunny day in October. Spiros had expressed concern that some plywood might need to be replaced depending on what they found when they took off the shingles but then reported to me that the unevenness was caused by nail pops and that the plywood was actually in good condition and did not need to replaced. I feel that Spiros did what was necessary and did not try to up sell me. I would happily recommend Spiros to anyone who wants the assurance of a job well done by a knowledgeable roofer.
