Sam is the best of the best. He has done work for us many times over the past ten years and has always done a fantastic job. Sam had started a big project in our basement which was mostly done but then COVID hit. I called him recently to see if he would be available to finish the job and do some other work that had come up as well. As always, I received a positive response and he showed up to start work again as promised. Sam is great because he has no problem helping with full-size renovations or small repairs. I know we couldnt still be in our House if we didnt have Sams support with whatever is needed. He puts in the extra effort too and has great suggestions. This last time, one of the smaller jobs involved closing off and electrical outlet for a picture light in our Living Room that was no longer needed. This also involved repainting the area. As it turns out, the paint we used is no longer being made. No problem, Sam took a sample of the paint and went to Home Depot and managed to get an exact match. He suggested we paint the whole wall so it would be more seamless. It turned out perfectly. I highly recommend Sam for any job you need done from small repairs to major renovations. I know I would never call anyone else! Thanks for everything, Sam.

When our neighbour made us aware that water was coming out of our downspout, we knew we needed help immediately. We also knew it was a small job and that we might have trouble finding a company willing to help us. I looked on HomeStars and saw a review for Eaves Experts that gave us hope, so we called. It was such a wonderful experience. Neethan never made us feel like our job was too small or a bother and offered to fix it right away. He arrived right on time and the job was done in a few minutes. It was such a relief since there was lots of rain on the way. The charge for this was very, very reasonable. While here, one of Neethan's crew advised us that our chimney needs repair. Since Eaves Experts doesn't do this kind of work, Neethan was kind enough to provide us with the name of someone we could call. It was such a pleasure working with Abraham when we needed our basement stairs and two platforms for our washer and dryer carpeted. His mobile truck with all the samples was such a great feature because we could easily see all the options available…fantastic idea. The stairs to the basement in our North Toronto home are a challenge because of the curved steps at the top. Abraham did all the work himself and did a fantastic job. I know we will have many years of enjoyment from the work he did for us. Abraham is very reliable and you can trust him to deliver the service as promised, not always the case these days. Abraham is a great listener and wants the best for his customer. I would absolutely recommend Abraham and Multiple Choice flooring to anyone. We have been helped by DrainWorks, on a few occasions, over the many years we have been in our North Toronto home. So when we had a backup problem with our Basement drain last week, one thing that helped us not panic, was we had no doubt about who to call. Sure enough, Drainworks sent Jim to help us within an hour. In short order, Jim had diagnosed the problem and given us the information we needed to feel comfortable giving the go ahead to replace the main pipe that connected up to our new backwater valve. While we could have just replaced a portion of the pipe to get a better join to the backwater valve, we decided to replace all of the main inside pipe that runs from the City drain to our drain. We also, replaced the drain. The work was scheduled for the next Monday 8:00 am. Jim had advised that it may not be him overseeing the work but another team member and his crew would take great care of us. On the dot of 8:00 am that Monday, the door bell rang and it was Lou from DrainWorks. Lou and his team including Andrew, Misha and Roman were just fantastic. From the moment they arrived, we knew we were in good hands. We had just had some drywall and lighting upgrades in the Basement and great care was taken to prepare the site for minimum disruption and damage. Lou advised that once the first part of the excavation was done, he would be able to assess the condition of other branch pipes. Once more exploration was possible, Lou’s knowledgeable, thoughtful and patient approach helped us better understand what he was recommending and why. Once we had all the information we needed and gave the go ahead for further work, there was doubt in our mind that we had made the right decision. Everyone worked so hard and stayed later so the job could be done in once day! We were invited to visit the Basement, a number of times during the day, for updates on progress and to answer any of our questions...WOW! When the crew were finished, Andrew invited us to take a look before they left. We couldn’t believe how they had cleaned up the work area. It was a big and messy job and it was hard to tell they had been there except for the newly cemented areas...WOW again. Thanks for everything, we couldn't have asked for a better crew. Sam has helped us with many things in our House over the past several years and we wouldn't think of calling on anyone else for help. When we decided it was time to do some work in our Basement we called on Sam. Originally we were just planning on having our old and peeling walls repaired and some new carpet. However, when our furnace went and we decided to remove all the old infrastructure and create a new furnace room, the job became much bigger. Sam was with us all the way first by completely finishing our old oil tank room for the new high efficiency furnace. Once the old furnace and water tank had been removed from the main part of the Basement, with Sam's help and encouragement, we decided to really make it a more finished and liveable space. Sam ensured that we had just the right LED pot lights installed and dry walled all the spaces. This was not an easy job in our older North Toronto home but he did a beautiful job and we love it. With some new carpet and cabinets we will enjoy this space for many years to come. As always, Sam is so kind, knowledgeable and reliable that he is a delight to work with. We have had Fernando and Jonathan from Belyea Bros. help us with our boiler and air conditioning maintenance for many years now. They have done such a great job for us, that when it came to replace our heating system, we decided to use Belyea Bros. again. We are so glad we did. Our first contact was with Jamieson, who was very knowledgeable and such a delight to deal with, as he led us through every step. Of course, many things had changed in the 27 years since our last system was installed. With Jamieson’s advice, we not only got just the right system for our older North Toronto home, but decided to remove all the old piping and relocate everything into a new Furnace Room. We are so happy with the end result. On the day the work began, Jamieson arrived to go over final details and introduce us to Andrew and Marko, our installers. From the start, it was clear that Andrew and Marko really cared about us and wanted to make sure that the installation went off without a hitch...which it did. They were great to communicate with, kept us up to date as the work progressed and were always happy to answer our questions. True professionals who really know their trade. Whenever there was an opportunity for them to do something extra they did that to. During the 3 days of work, we were never without heat and only hot water for a very brief time. Sam has done work for me on a number of occasions and I highly recommend him. He is very skilled and can do any type of job you require. He will also make suggestions, if he sees something that requires attention, that you may have missed. A rare find these days. Sam is professional, has an eye for detail, is reliable and just a pleasure to work with. Last, but definitely not least, Sam really cares about his customer. Ray had come highly recommended to us and exceeded our expectations. Our Kitchen sink was completely backed up early Halloween day. I called Ray and he was already very busy but promised to call back at 7:00 pm. At 7:00 pm the phone rang and it was Ray advising he would be at our home in 10 minutes. Ray did a thorough snaking it two places and ensured that the sink was emptying quickly and completely before leaving. He left absolutely no mess behind, charged a very reasonable rate and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We would recommend Ray to anyone.

This was the second time we have used Finer Edge and once again they did a fantastic job. It all started with a site visit from Gord, who really knows his business, responds to your needs and is so easy to talk to. Luigi always has a smile, provides excellent customer support and was great at ensuring all the necessary materials were on hand, including a last minute adjustment in the paint. Last, but definitely not least, is Nick who is knowledgeable, talented, really cares about the customer and is such a pleasure to have on site. If only everything could work out this well!! We have had Juffs Roofing do work for us twice over the last 13 years and have been really pleased both times. They are knowledgeable, have a great way of treating their customers, they care, they follow-up and they deliver what they promise. Our most recent experience goes like this: We had noticed some ice build-up at the side of our House last Winter, so I decided to give Steve a call to see what he thought might be the problem. While there, I also asked him to look at the many icicles and build-up we had at the back. Thanks to Steve, we learned that is was the many pot lights we had recently installed on the second floor that were the culprit. The House interior was in great condition, so it was not a time I wanted to face having insulation work done - however no choice. Steve assured me Juffs would do their best to not do any damage to our interior. The day before the work began, I spoke to Shane who was going to be the lead and he was also great at assuring me they would be really careful and everything would be okay. Well, it was not only okay it was fantastic. After they finished you could hardly tell they were there. Access to the roof was through my Bedroom and there wasn't any damage even in this very tight work area. Thank you Shane and Julian. They also gave me a proper vent for my Bathroom fan as a bonus!! Then Julian came back the next day to work on the eaves so no water would drain to the basement (the new by-law) and give me leave filters for the eaves. Julian and John had a long day getting all the materials together and getting everything done. It was getting darker a bit earlier so there were a few things still left to do.
