We were looking for a painter to apply sealant to our cedar shakes and got quotes from The Moore Brothers and two independent painters. While we were impressed by Kevin's personable and quick communications with us, we initially decided to hire one of the independent painters, only because he was recommended by our neighbour for his knowledge of woods and stains. When this painter went AWOL, I contacted Kevin again and asked if he could help us out. Despite the fact that we had initially chosen to go with someone else, and that the October weather was proving to be a challenge for getting outdoor work completed, Kevin was very responsive to our request, and made good on his promise to get the job done before the weather made it impossible. He was excellent at staying in touch and communicating about the work, and was receptive to our request to use a specific sealant. The work was done efficiently and without any disruption to us, and we are pleased with the result. We would not hesitate to contact The Moore Brothers for future painting jobs.
