We currently use Maid for you for a 5 hour service and we are more than happy. K, who looks after scheduling, is a treat to deal with and we have had assistance from several Maid for you Staff and have always been happy. There was one instant when things did not work out 100% and K was more than eager to make up for this little mishap, which impressed us as well. Her comments were, "It is our job to make sure you are 100% satisfied" which is rarely heard these days. We have used their services for about 3 years now and they are mighty fine!

We hired Blair to install some basement storage cupboards plus basement fireplace mantle with built in shelves also. WE found him here on your Homestars website as we had interviewed another contractor to do the same but were turned off by his continued attempts to upsell us plus his lack of listening skills. Blair from the get go was courteous, patient, punctual, work is detailed and beautiful and he cleans as he goes along. Please try him out you will not be disappointed. We're so pleased with our new basement plus many of our friends have asked who we hired to do such outstanding work.

We had people at Reid's reupholster some dining room chairs and they did a stellar job. We brought in our fabric as we thought we needed to hence the price reflects this. Said they'd do this as a one time offer however we did notice that they have a wide array of fabulous fabrics to choose from which we'll choose from when we have our love seat done. This is a Mom and Pop type organization where true craftmanship is displayed in their work. Would recommend them hands down. and will definitely use them again!

We recently had a chimney liner installed as well as cleaning, some masonry work, new spark arrester etc. We found these guys to be prompt, patient, clean and efficient. Offered them coffee a few times and they kept working, just saying they wanted to get the job done. Also we were provided extra instructions of how to build a proper fire with John visiting for 30 minutes during the first snowfall, answering all questions we had about how chimney works, type of wood to use etc. Very personalized service and would not hesitate to recommend.

Just a quick note to say that we too have used Davey and the customer service has been excellent with punctual visits, ongoing updates about what they are doing and recommendations have been logical and well thought out. We'll continue to use their services.

We decided to renovate our kitchen in order to sell our home and Dundas did a stellar job. It was a challenge as we lived in an older home hence corners of room weren't perfectly square etc. however this company made it all appear flawless and worked for 2 days straight in order to get it perfectly right. They were polite, on time and really delightful to deal with. Their work was really beautiful and they were also very tidy and organized. We did sell our house and the buyers told us it was our beautiful kitchen that was the deciding factor. Our new house's kitchen was already redone...not quite as nicely....too bad. However if we ever move again, or decide to set up a kitchen in our basement, we'd call Dundas for certain. Well done guys!

We have used Dave Fawcett and his crew for numerous projects and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They are punctual, polite, efficient, honest and very reasonable. I would also like to add that we also hired them when we had put an offer on a house subj to inspection of electrics and they saved us a huge headache as the wiring had been done by cowboy contractors....it would have been a huge expense had we purchased that house. Now we are in the house of our dreams which they also inspected. Hope this helps...these are good people, family run business. Melanie is also most helpful when arranging appts.
