I had called for warranty repair on a new dishwasher. It turns out the contractor pinched the water supply line during install. The service charge for this work was reasonable and I will use them again.
This is our second time using Durabuilt and the product was exactly as ordered. My only small complaint was when I called for an update on the delivery date there was a lack of communication between the delivery warehouse and everyone else. The Calgary office had no delivery information and I then had to call Edmonton to try and figure out the details. Then the delivery driver did nto call me when he was on his way, as I had requested, he called when he was at the house and I was not home as a result.
I would not and will not ever recommend this company to anyone! They were extremely unreliable. Took 3 weeks after the siding was dropped off on our grass for a crew to come after we were promised several times and crews no showed. They damaged downspouts and we had to fight to get them to replace them. The crew smoked on our property and even inside our garage when graciously offered to allow them to cut siding out of the rain. Took them 2 weeks to remove left-over materials. The install seems to have been done properly. Definitely not impressed.
This certainly is not a normal practice or course of action for Great Canadian. Our systems should have flagged the delay in the crew starting and contact made to the customer. We do not allow our crews to smoke on our job sites and I'm very sorry to hear that they did on this particular job. Our post inspection on the job did show the workmanship was very good. The crew will be reprimanded and our internal team will review process to ensure all of our customers have an exemplary experience. I have left a message to discuss these concerns with you Keith. We truly appreciate your comments as this is the only way to help better our business.

AIrPro is the only company we found in the Calgary that will install furnace and air conditioning units that are purchased by people through Direct Buy. They completed the install quickly and have responded to any questions or fiurther service requests we have made.
Epic has replaced the roofing for us on two different properties. In both cases they were cordial, respectful and diligent in making sure they did a quality job. They cleaned up all of the garbage from the replacement.
