I have been a client of Reliance for several years for the annual maintenance of my boiler. The maintenance service took place last week. As the technician was about to leave, I was surprised to see that he had not done the carbon monoxide test. So I asked him and he replied: 'oh you are right I forgot to do it'. He returned to his truck to retrieve the equipment. Is it the customer who should remind the technician how to do his job ???
I called Reliance the day after to report the problem. It took me three phone calls and over 1 1/2 hour of my time to get someone from the Resolution department - seems that Reliance, after being not able to hire qualified technicians, prefers to hang up and don't want to talk to their dissatisfied customers. A new maintenance service is scheduled for next week, which will cause disturbance to my tenants and take again 2 hours of my time since I have to be on site. So much time and money wasted!!! And by the way: if you have a boiler (not a standard furnace), I have been told by the Resolution department that a technician sent on-site may not be qualified to service a boiler. I cannot trust this company anymore.
