Reliance Service Technicians Continue to be Exemplary
I wanted to personally commend Reliance senior technician Wes and Bryce for their incredible service. I purchased a furnace from Reliance in 2019 based on their reputation and warranty services and it turns out that the unit that was installed was not quite what I ordered. I am not at all an HVAC expert so I didn't quite know the nuances of what I ordered but when it came time to replace filters and the filters in my furnace were not generic and I couldn't find them anywhere but reliance, and to boot they were backordered for months due to COVID, I realized that this was not the unit I thought was being installed because I specifically said I wanted a unit where I could buy generic filters elsewhere.
I had to do a lot of the leg work to get this remedied because Reliance is so large that I was getting bounced around from departments; however, management scheduled a replacement of the casing to accommodate a generic 5" Merv 11 filter along with a duct mount UV installation VERSUS a 1" UV filter and a 4" furnace filter that you can not seem to find anywhere by Reliance. Technician Wes did the original install and returned again this time around. I couldn't be more impressed with him and his associate Bryce was equally as helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. There are pros and cons to dealing with large companies for reasons like this; however, I like to commend good honest work and Bryce and Wes from Reliance deserve this accolade.
