Reliance Home Comfort - Furnance Installation
I had an emergency at my home and since my service provider was Sears (bankrupt at the time of emergency in December), I decided to call Reliance, who were already maintaining my water heater.
The sales person who came arranged for an installation quickly, given that we did not have heat, and was an emergency.
There is such a contrast between their sales operations and the maintenance operations. The sales person, Momo had to replace the thermostat, which was supposed to be temporary with another one that was equivalent to the one that I had before.
The installation was done in December and my calls to follow up were ignored. Finally, I got a date arranged and waited on a Saturday from 1 PM to 5 PM with no one coming. When I called the Reliance Home Comfort number, they had no record of any such schedule.
When I followed up for another schedule, I was told that I am not entitled to that thermostat unless I pay for it - which was exactly the opposite of what I had been told before. And this after a botched schedule where no money requirements were made known.
I feel that a company that tolerates such poor service is not for me, however good they are in their technical work and my next furnace will NOT be with Reliance.
