I am renting a tank-less water heater from Reliance so one day we called them to fix it since hot water was not constant. They sent a technician who looked like didn't have a clue what the problem is , came 2 times and left a bunch of mess. After his visit we even lost hot water completely. Spoke with their manager and they told us that this tech wasn't actually trained on water heaters!!!
Called them again and we got another tech who just turned something on and got it fixed.
It wasn't the end of the story however.
Yesterday I received a letter from Reliance with "Thank you for purchasing home comfort protection plan" - I did not even purchase !!!
After speaking again with Reliance they told us that the tech who came last time sold it to us. Incredible. We even didn't discuss anything like it.
Hopefully my comment here will help other homeowners to avoid such bad experience in dealing with Reliance.
