We're enrolled with the Reliance Furnace/AC protection plan - during the summer we called to have our AC/furnace checked out. The technician who came was wonderful and did a great job explaining to us some problems we might encounter in the future because of the way the AC unit was situated outside the house but for the most part everything was in good condition. Only thing he pointed out was that when we started using the furnace in the fall that we should make a call to have a Reliance technician make a small repair to the furnace unit which had started making a buzzing sound towards the end of last winter.
We called, made an appointment and I wanted to say that our technician, Thava Siva went above and beyond our expectations. He arrived when expected, made the repairs and worked on the furnace to make sure that the buzzing sound stopped, but serviced and cleaned some parts that he thought needed some TLC. Thava was an excellent technician who sought to ensure that we were happy with the service he provided and most importantly that we'd be confident in his work!
My only complaint about the Reliance service is the number of calls I've received since joining their home protection plan - as they've tried to up-sell us on other services they provide. It's gotten to the point where I've actually blocked the numbers these calls originated from.
However, I wanted to reiterate how happy we were with the actual service call and the technician! Thanks Thava!
