I called to see what time the repair technician would be showing up to my place of residence, and was Iied to about the correct time. The technician showed up 2 hours late, and I took half the day off work to wait for them.
I was assured (by telephone) a technician would be at my home around the time of 2-5pm. I took half of my day off of work, resulting in an estimated loss of $300 of which I could've earned in the meantime- to only have the technician show up at ~7pm, 2 hours after the maximum time I was told.
The technician that showed up was apologetic about the occurrence, and was really helpful. He told me to follow up with this review, advising me to touch on the prior things I've mentioned. I hope for feedback on this incident.
