East West Futons

I was happy with the futon and the price, and staff were consistently friendly and helpful.

The only problem was East West's busyness. After we'd agreed on a delivery date, they had to cancel it and reschedule (on fairly short notice!) to one week later. I'd never seen that before. Fortunately, that one-week wait was eventually reduced to four days.

Not a big problem though - I'd still recommend you try them. (Along with The Futon Store nearby since they were super friendly too.)

I visited this store on Bloor, and they gave unbelievable service. Patient during all points of sale, accomodating and prompt delivery at a very reasonable cost. 100% recommend this place.

We had purchased a futon from East west, and although it took a while to get a sales associate to talk to us, once we did they were very friendly and we were very impressed with the product they sold us.

I ordered a custom sofa by Pallister and paid for a storage bed frame in a combined order. The part owner, Leanne, told me initially 4-6 weeks for delivery. The applicant placed the order and after further enquiry she told me it would take 8-12 weeks for delivery. After 12 weeks had elapsed I still had no sofa. The sofa finally came shortly after that.

However, upon delivery the company had rented a cargo van and sent their store sales employees to deliver the sofa which weighed a tonne. Needless to say they couldn't get the sofa in the elevator and scratched it all up trying to get it up the stairwell.

I declined the order and then got into a disagreement with Leanne and eventually she took the sofa back and refunded my deposit.

I realized then that this company will do anything to make the sale, but will not stand behind their product and use substandard delivery people to move expensive items.
