Approximately 3 years ago we moved into our home and had to seek out a contractor and have our basement finished with an extra bedroom for our stepdaughter whom was staying in residence at University. My wife and I interviewed a number of different contractors and had settled on one 6 months prior to the project being started. However with less then a month to go and a disagreement over some business practices, we were told that they could no longer accommodate us. We were completely upset and frustrated by this.
That same day, Sean called back to follow up. I did not want to even talk at the moment however my wife spoke with him. We were honest and stated that the reason that we did not choose him was that he was outside of our budget. She explained to Sean what had happened and asked if we would be open to another visit and see what options were available.
Sean came over and was able to reduce his price with into our limits and to our surprise the work that we agreed on was going to be superior to what the first contractor was to offer. Therefore we signed a contract and building permits were obtained.
Sean also recognized the urgency and was able to maneuver his schedule to accommodate our basement much earlier.
He had the basement done in approximately 6 - 8 weeks and ahead of schedule. We had made some design changes, with Sean accommodating those changes and with the cost known up front. It was seamless, stress less and the level of professionalism was top level.
However, what I was more impressed with was how he interacted with my family, my kids and my neighbours - taking the optics and image that they present with very seriously. Ensuring my neighbours did not hear any swearing in conversation, no cigarette butts thrown on the grown and all of their crew were very personable with my kids.
I can not say enough about Sean and their crew but nothing about 100% professional and courteous.
We have had some other work done after the fact and would 200% recommend them. They may not be the cheapest however you get what you pay for!!!
