Hired Jon for a 600 sq ft small interlock job and it was an absolute disaster. I gave him the exact scope of work we wanted and asked him several times before, during and after most of the job was done, he always had a hard time adding up a price. He agreed at 14k, changed it later to 16,8 and couldnt read his own contract to see that the job included the boulevard. I paid Jon in full because he seemed nice and the work was going semi well. Bad move. When Jon was paid and had to comeback to do the boulevard, he completely changed his attitude and moved onto another job for three weeks. This job is 4 5 days max and Jon took two weeks with his worker here solo for most of the time. Then waited 3 weeks to comeback and wanted another $3700 (with a discount) to comeback and finish when we had already agreed on a price. From 14 to 22, Jons price went up 50 percent when he had to comeback and finish. After 6 weeks total since the start he came back, did half the boulevard and left us hanging with the rest of the job, a bad step with 6 inches of sand beside the house that he wanted 2500 for the install and just a terrible experience. Beware: Jon is not a real landscaper. He didnt cut any stone himself and only showed up 10 percent of the time to do a terrible step install. He should stick to lawn maintenance and planting. Do not hire!
