Perfect Roofing Service

Choosing All Round Construction for my roofing project was one of the best decisions I made for my home.
The quality of materials used was impressive, and their attention to detail was evident throughout the installation process. They completed the project on time and with minimal disruption and they charged a fair price for their work. I am very happy with their work.
I will always appreciate their work!

Worst Experience Ever!!

In our 43 years of home ownership this is by far the worst experience weve ever had! This company has no idea of what responsible communication is or how to treat customers with respect. Our $3200 brick job became at $9800 foundation job based on Georges expert analysis. When starting the brick repair, he noticed a non-invasive crack in the foundation, which changed his whole focus for the job. We were very skeptical that it was a foundation problem, but reluctantly went ahead, as hes the expert. As we thought, it wasnt foundation and the bricks were still leaking water into the basement. Being too trusting we paid him before the job was tested and thats when he basically disappeared. Our big job quickly became a side job, as hed already moved onto other things and he had our money! We insisted on a meeting with George and he promised to get the job done and give us some money back for his mistake. However, all hes done is stall, not answer texts and now has disappeared. We only wanted to be treated fairly and get the job done, but 2 months later we still have a leak and George has our money!! Save yourself lots of grief and never hire this company.

Chimney repointing

George is an Englishman so we had a bit of a language barrier so aided by his capable sidekick Sean it was okay. He repointed a chimney for. me and I was more than satisfied when completed. Reasonable price and caring work. I would use them again.

Siding Repair

I was initially concerned about affording the siding repair, but the company offered flexible financing options that made the process more accessible.
They worked with me to create a payment plan that fit my budget. This financial flexibility has relieved a lot of stress and allowed me to upgrade my home without compromising my savings. As a result, my house now looks like new
I am very happy with the work of their team members.

Excellent Communication and Quality Work.

I called the All Round Construction team to repair my roof after a hailstorm, they arrived quickly and the team communicated clearly throughout the process keeping me informed of the repair status.
The work was completed quickly and efficiently and the quality of work was outstanding.
The new shingles look great, and I'm sure my roof will be protected for years to come.
I would highly recommend this company for any roofing needs.
Please note that I am not an employee or family member of this company.
I and my family are very happy with their work.

Do not use this company!!!!

George is dishonest ! He was supposed to re-roof our sun room. Got a written quote for $4,600.
After he removed a section of old roofing, he told me price was going to go up because existing roof was worse than he thought. After delays, his sub-contractor finally started. They finished in one day. We paid him $4,600 cash. He was angry but signed receipt paid in full.
Now he refuses to pay his sub-contractor anything ! And he wont take their calls !!!

Company Response

This is harassment with what you are doing, the original quote was $4600 to remove your old porch, roof and replace with a new porch roof during our inspection on the roof, I pointed out to your husband that there is numerous points that water has gained access to the roof, and we both noticed because I took photos of the holes in your roof. That means rafters was exposed to the weather and the insulation inside the roof was also damp, so I quoted you $6000 to replace all the rafters new insulation new plyboard and a two touchdown , and install a plug socket inside your porch because I never put this in writing to you we agreed verbally 'because we built some trust over the days we have been contacting each other' And you guys said carry on so I did you took this as a chance to take a advantage you insisted that I signed the form saying paid in full Or you was going jeopardize my company on social media and other platforms which we advertise on. If you remember rightly.

replaced 4 downspouts, installed rain barrel

My wife and I contacted several companies to quote on replacing 4 downspouts on our home. George from All Round Construction was the only person to make a visit in a timely manner, which was impressive. He was very friendly, and seemed very "pro" at first. Without going into every detail, we initially etransferred 400.00 successfully to him for a deposit. George performed the work and from what I could see, it was satisfactory. I did have to show him how to assemble the rain barrel. However, while on our roof he pointed out and photograhed loose cap shingles that he said needed replacing, and quoted us 2300.00 for the extra work. My wife managed to find the original receipt saved by the previous homeowners, and we saw that the roof should be under warranty, so we reached the original roofers and asked them to inspect the roof. I sent an etransfer for the balance of our bill with George, but although the money was removed from our account it wasn't received by George. He started badgering us to complete the payment so I sent another etransfer- this one was again taken from our account but again seemingly couldn't be received by George. By that point we were out 2,000.00 from our account and George was contacting me multiple times a day to now pay cash for the balance remaining...but it felt so much like something was wrong because etransfers to others we sent at that time worked fine. Our bank recommended waiting until we saw what would happen to the etransfers to George before paying cash for the balance, and the bank sent an inquiry and request to stop to Interac. At any rate, it took a week for the bank to straighten things away, during which George put a lot of pressure on us. While the time passed, a total of 5 of the wall anchors from George's work suspending the downspouts failed. As well, he left the downspout bottoms as straight pipe, venting right next to our foundation onto old splash pads from our previous pipes, but the old pipes had extensions to get the water away from the foundation. Lastly, the roofers checked the caps and claimed- using George's own pictures as proof- that the shingles couldn't have been loose as George claimed and they suspected someone pulled them up manually, before they easily repairing the damage. They also pointed out poor work on George's part where the downspouts departed from the gutters. As well, I had to replace the failed wall anchors myself, except for one that was too high for me that I got George to do when we paid cash for the balance of payment. I also installed extensions on the downspouts myself to direct the water from the foundation, which George incorrectly insisted was not necessary. George took almost 2 weeks to finally pick up most- but not all- of the garbage created from his work. I told him of our dis-satisfaction with his work, and he apologized, saying he had had a bad day. In the end, he seemed a nice enough fellow but we were very undwerwhelmed by his work, his knowledge of this job, and his abilities, and will not recommend his company to anyone else.
