A big thank you to Lakeside Builders Toronto for bringing my mothers east end home (built in 1930), up to building code and the renovations needed to help her age in place. She has lived in this home for over 50 years.
Over a 4-month period, a number of structural and other issues had to be rectified (asbestos removal, electrical knob and tube and plumbing re-done along with structural issues). Lakeside Builders were able to plan and address these issues. It was reassuring that their experience, skills, practical suggestions and solutions were implemented, given the particular quirks of this older home.
The seamless coordination of trades and the transition to a more accessible and functional space based on architectural design by (Blüne) has turned this house into a modern and practical home. Throughout the overall process Lakeside builders was accommodating and their flexibility allowed my parent to return home while the external work was completed.
Their professionalism, respectfulness and reliability, as well as the ongoing consultation, was greatly valued. I fully appreciate the enthusiasm brought to the job, the quality of work and the attention to detail and their readiness to discuss and provide advice.
Many people in the neighbourhood have commented positively on the renovations and adjacent neighbours were appreciative of the minimal disruption in undertaking this project. I would recommend this company for their excellent work.

This is the second time I work with Lakeside Builders. First time was to renovate two bathrooms at a condo, and the last project was a facelift for a house including new flooring, stairs, levelling, some electrical and wall refinishing. As with every construction project issues arise, and the team always provided quick and simple solutions to keep things moving. The project was finished slightly ahead of schedule and on budget. The team is flexible and easy to work with. Highly recommended
