Ben's Deck and Fences

In May 2024 we agreed with our neighbours to replace our existing shared 38 year old existing boundary fence separating our backyards.
Isaac from Ben's Deck and Fences came to measure the back and side existing 38 year old boundary fences. He was then hired to replace the shared 38 year old existing boundary fence along the back of our yards. The existing fence was removed and new posts were placed and cemented in. We noticed that there was an error in measurements and 2 posts were incorrectly placed. The existing 38 year old side boundary fence had been cut in length to accommodate the error. The side fence was not to be replaced, or affected as it was not part of the agreement and we did not pre-approve the shortening of the length of the side fence nor the change in the placement of the new fence posts. These errors created confusion, chaos and more measurement errors. We
trusted him to replace the existing 38 year old boundary fence, not to change its placement, thereby changing the property line.
