They have a great team of guys who kept the area clean and safe the whole time. They were efficient and responsive to all questions we had . Even ten years later the roof looks still brand new and as we had some questions after a big storm , the roof stayed strong but they still sent a team out immediately to allay my concerns and were wonderful in helping us! The guys on the roof did a great job
Concerns:
- quote includes 35 sheets of plywood - they only used 25 - price was not adjusted
- no HST# on invoice (legal requirement)
- had to ask for warranty a number of times
- warranty had ineligble signature. Asked for name and position within company to be added. Was not provided
- 30 min after deposit - was told all plywood had to be replaced. Some new were added and after discussions with experienced workmen, i don't believe adding the plywood was required.

Stay Away
They low balled me on a bid for a smaller job. Once on my roof they quoted reasonable price on shingles. Once ALL of the shingles were off they convinced us that ALL the roof decking needed to be replaced before they could re-shingle. Quoted the job at about twice the price it should be once we were stuck. Never finished the original quoted job. They didn't tarp the roof so when it rained my house flooded. Should have gone the other way when they didn't know basic construction terms (like Gables and Decking). Cut corners on all aspects of the job (like using 1/2 inch instead of 3/4 plywood which was quoted, not laying down waterproof membrane) Definitively avoid.

Quoted one price, stripped the roof then said all the plywood needed to be changed (with pressure treated no less) and wanted almost 4x the cost. Boss guy unable to speak to any of his workers, doesn't speak their language. Double checked their pamphlet and their listed address is for a law firm. Kicked them out and hired a real company. These guys won't exist in a couple months but just in case they come knocking before then, hopefully this helps someone else avoid a costly mistake

Correct waterproofing is achieved! They swiftly located and resolved the trouble spots. Exceptionally good service delivered by a trustworthy professional.

Capital Roofing and Construction was prompt in checking out the roof and said it couldn't be coated, but said his partner would call about fixing the roof. He did and gave me a fair quote. I have not made a final decision yet.
