I cannot recommend Iain highly enough! He refaced our kitchen cabinets with new doors, and the transformation is truly remarkable. His attention to detail is exceptional, and the quality of his work is outstanding. Our old kitchen now looks brand new, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

Excellent service and product. We couldn't be happier. This was a big project and often I am worried about folks cutting corners. I was shocked as to the attention of detail and the work ethic. He completed my entire second floor wainscoting ( 1k Sq feet) within 1.5 weeks AND prepped it for my Painters. He met all thr timelines and has committed to come back if there are any issues- which I doubt there will be considering the level of detail he puts in his work. Don't waste your time googling other carpenters, just go with Darrah!

Its rare to find a skilled carpenter who is not only extremely proficient, detail-oriented, and design savvy but who is also conscientious, tidy, and charming. Darrah has all the above! This was a unique project fitting a bench into our rounded straw bale walls but he accepted the challenge with confidence, patience, and expertise. Iain restored a very old and rickety porch swing from out 100+ year old family cottage. His attention to detail, skill and hard work has transformed this piece. I was very pleased with the installation of a finely designed, hand carved, carrara marble fireplace in the living room of my home by Darrah Fine Carpentry. The multiple pieces of marble were fit together perfectly and Iain took the time to ensure it was absolutely level and very solidly in place. It looks wonderful visually and is now the focal point for our living room. Iain is a hands-on owner who takes pride in doing excellent work. Iain did a bunkie shell to four season office conversion for us. He touched every surface in the bunkie from floors to ceiling, including a couple of windows. It has gone from a storage place to a beautiful office space allowing my husband privacy while working from our home. Iain is a Finishing Carpenter and it shows in everything he does. He has made us a banquette with a seat that lifts up for storage. Iain took two 10 foot walnut planks and turned them in to a 6 foot black epoxy river dining table and matching 4 foot coffee table. He has also made a custom corner fireplace for my parents. We look forward to Iain doing many more projects for us in the future. Iain is a perfectionist and a pleasure to have in your home, trustworthy and reliable. We highly recommend him for any of your carpentry needs.
