New Stone Interlocking and Home Improvements

BEWARE!!! All Stone Interlocking & Home Improvements, New Stone Interlocking & Home Improvements and Select Interlocking and Restoration are all under the same management. I hired this company to perform a $10,000 landscaping job (retaining wall, level pavers, sand etc) in Jun 2023 which was to take 2 days to complete. They underestimated the time to complete the retaining wall and rushed through the remaining aspects of the contract. As a result, the over-all work completed was of poor quality (cracked and stained stones, uneven pavers, trip hazards, poor drainage/water pooling etc) which we advised and were told they would come back and make right. 3 weeks later, when we tried to contact him to complete the repairs, his phone was disconnected and website shut down. We were able to reach him via the email address but no longer believed his empty promises and found out the business address he operated under was fake. When we asked for our money back so we could have the job fixed properly he refused. So much for a 5 year warranty guarantee!

Pressure washed patio interlock without removing furniture or planters. Did not shield pool. Hired non-English speaking amateur labourers who did not understand or know what to do. Replaced with entirely different team next day -- they rebuilt 3-row retaining wall without alternating bricks. Had to be torn down. Job was not completed. Left unused bricks on plants and in garden area. No attention to detail. Promised to return to remove mound of sand left at curb, but didn't. No light mist spray of water to harden and activate polymeric sand as per manufacturer's directions. Only one coat of sealer received -- manufacturer recommends two. No prep; no finish. Took my push-broom and shovel. Will not respond to phone calls or e-mails.
