Team Hardwood Floor

Tin and his team did really spectacular work on my home in the upper beach. When he arrived to do the quote on August 28th we talked about the job, he made a measurement for a custom step, got 2 floor samples for colour matching and that evening I got a quote. I had a number of other companies in for estimates, but TEAM Hardwood was very competitive and most importantly fit my timeline.

The crew of 4 completed the job in 2 days. 575 sf of flooring removed, tightened, new sub floor added and installation of the flooring I provided, plus repair of my 102 year old stairs.

They showed up on time, prepared the workspace VERY well (plastic coverings to protect the rest of the home). Completed the work in 2 days, fully cleaned up, did a high quality job.

Our new basement floor looks great. The team were prompt, thorough, did extra unexpected work for fair price, cleaned up thoroughly.

TeamHardWood Floor did an immaculate job with our stairs job. They brought out visions to life. They were straight forward, honest and actually gave great cost efficient advice. They honoured all the promises they promised during the quotation. They worked very fast and efficiently. Finished the job within two days. Tin and his team even took extra steps to mask around the work site to ensure all dust wouldnt be travelling around our home. We were worried the stairs wouldnt match our 3 tone flooring upstairs, but they perfected it. Even provided confirmation receipts for the deposit and when the job was done. Over all I highly recommend these great group of guys, as it is hard to find trustworthy contractors these days. Also this wasnt a recapping job, they tore down the stairs and reinforced the new stairs to be a lot stronger as we had some creaking noises one our old staircase. We had a very good experience with Team Hardwood Floor when we needed to renovate flooring & stairs at our new house. Mr. Tin is very responsive, professional & his team delivered an excellent service at a very reasonable price. I wasn't sure where to start. I had my engineered flooring put down by another company, and they could not finish the job. My house is over 100 years old, and they did not know how to lay the nosing down. They put square nosing when my staircase is round, and it really looked awkward. I contacted Tin, and he came promptly to look at the job. He knew exactly what to do.

I had also called other companies, and all they said was good luck; we can't match the stain or make round nosing. Tin came and said it was simple; he knew exactly what to do. I was a little nervous because he did not explain how he would do it. He showed up the next day and put new round nosing that matched my existing hardwood flooring. He also installed new railings for my basement. He and his crew were very neat and tidy and cleaned up after the job. They were very respectful of my home and worked very efficiently.

The same evening, he sent me pictures of the job, and I wanted him to make a change for me. He came back to my house and made the change without any issue. He said if I am happy, then he is happy. I highly recommend Team Hardwood. Don't be scared if he does not communicate a lot; he knows his trade and will do a beautiful job. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Team Hardwood Floor Ltd. (THF) was prompt, professional, and quick on the job.

It was important for me to find a contractor who would remove the half wall that closed in the box stairs that I had. Tin provided one-stop shopping. Tin demolished the old stairwell wall, took away the waste and rebuilt the stairs allowing for pleasurable sightlines.

Tin was awesome to work with given his 20+ years experience, responsiveness and desire to understand the clients needs by providing many product selections, including iron spindles. THF Ltd., finished the Maplewood stair treads, nosing, risers, handrails and newel posts in a stain colour to match the pre-existing maplewood flooring. See them on IG.

Tins team members are respectful and efficient. They contributed to completing the installation services project in less time than estimated.
