Driveway curbs and a concrete walkway
We were looking to replace our driveway curbs before the driveway got paved - as well as pour the new walkway. What was a bit tricky is to get the proper sloping done and figure out the transition from the driveway (that would be raised quite a bit) to the walkway.
We got numerous quotes, surprisingly ranging quite a bit. You could also tell if contractors knew their stuff and if they cared.
When we called RoyalArt, Denis came quickly, on time, he made a really good impression. Not pushy, humble, and clearly knew what he was doing. He suggested the best way to handle the driveway/walkway transition. He also recommended that we consider charcoal curbs instead of white - and even gave us address nearby to go and see what those look like (he installed them there). We were convinced, and took his advice. It turned out really nice. Oh - and the quote was very reasonable to top it all off.
The guys came right when they said they would, did the job quickly, cleaned up and even added some soil around the curbs and the walkway so that the whole thing looked very neat.
When the paving guys came and did the driveway, they moved one of the curbs so that it got misaligned. I texted Denis to see if he could come over and fix it - and he did! Free of charge, showed up, aligned it. Everything looks super neat.
RoyalArt and Denis are the rare type of contractors that I can wholeheartedly recommend with absolutely no reservations. Just talk to him and you'll know the difference if you ever spoke to the contractors before :)
