Wave Movers

I paid for 6 hours and 3 men. It took them 7 hours to fill a 15 foot rented uhaul van. The company doesn't have their own moving van. They charge an extra $200 gas surcharge and $45 for anything the lifted over 200 lbs. They were paid to move an entire apartment. They only got half the apartment moved out and required another $1500 to go back and do the second half. They took 2 15 min breaks and 1 1/2 hours lunch break within their 6 hour time frame. meaning they only worked for four hours. They then refused to off load the 15 ft truck until the extra charges along with the $1500 were paid. The contract said it has to be paid once the job
is done. They sat across the back of the uhaul truck and refused to off
load it. They also would not let use offload it. We sat there for 2 hours
waiting for the police to come. They then said since they rented the truck they were going to take all of our contents back to Brampton and keep it. They called their boss many times who told them not to give us
our stuff until it was paid in full and that they were to charge us the time it took the cops to get there. I tried to have them leave the property and
they refused to leave. They tried to back out of the driveway and we had
to block them off with pick up trucks and they then said they are also
calling the cops for not allowing them to leave with our own stuff. They
also refused to let us off load anything ourselves. They were rude and
laughing at us saying they will sit there all night until we paid them first.
We finally agreed to pay them up just so they would not keep our
contents hostage and at this time they said once they got the money b
etransfer only (they would accept nothing else) that they would not be completing the rest of the job. Long story short, biggest rip off money I've seen in a long time. They are the slowest movers, mostly o their phone and when they go over the 6 hours time frame and stop and demand the full amount be sent before they do anymore work. If I could give less than zero I would. I will be filing a small claims to get money back.

This company is horrible. Underestimated on purpose. More than half of our belongings were not not even part of the move on moving day. Didn't complete the move and damaged our furniture and belongings and list some of our belongings

Late arrival for pickup, transported items to Hamilton during rush hour which resulted in extra charges, broke a piece of the antique piano and the grandfather clock was also damaged and finally their truck broke down I can not recommend this company. The tree movers that were sent seemed inexperienced and could barely manage moving the two pieces.

I used wave movers for my move from brampton to london, These guys were amazing and they were very professional and arrived at the given ETA. Movers were really good and friendly. I would really use them for my next move.
