Manjit and his team did our basement side entrance, installed egress windows and did concrete walkways with expansion to our driveway. He arranged for the City of Brampton inspector to complete inspection of the basement side entrance and passed all city codes with ease. His work was done to drawing specifications and the finishes were amazing. Communication was clear and ongoing, timelines were met and the team was overall great to work with. Additional walkway was added during the project at our request and was done with no additional cost. Sump pump was neatly installed in the basement and discreetly covered with a removable tile. We have used them for two seasons and have another project booked with them in the Fall. Highly recommend this company due to their professionalism and their high quality of work at an unbeatable price, not to mention how nice they are and easy to work with. We found Sahib on HomeStars and he gave us a very good price for concrete walk way so we proceeded with the engineer drawing based on his referral. Overall I would have paid more money for better communication and service. I am very upset about their decision to relocate the entrance sump pit without talking to me. As per our approved permit drawings, the pit was to be located under our fridge. This was something I confirmed he will do for us. Confirmed with both engineer and Manjit. They started the work and out of no where they placed the pit right at the entrance of the door. As a result we now have to build a custom bench on top of it. This severely reduced function for that area. This upset me because we have limited space to work with and there was NO CONSULTATION or NO QUESTION. NOTHING. He just decided that it will be moved because the discharge pipe would interfere with the stairs going down to the door. Had he consulted me I would have found a way to make it would. I am more than happy to have PAID MORE to reroute the line. I am now increasingly upset now that I not able to make sure of this area.

There was a leak at the discharge pipe elbow located in the concrete. We got into a dispute because they did not bond the ABS pipes under concrete. I had to convince them that it is required by code to be chemically bonded or attached with threaded fittings. They did come back and glued the pieces into the elbow together.

Another major dissatisfaction is that the concrete between the walkway and the entrance is not the same. I stressed that it is important it match and it be the same. Manjit assured me that it would be 100% the same color when it dries. Upon drying when it is obviously different, he then proceeds to share that he used different suppliers so that's why it does not match. Extremely upsetting because I feel misled up until the very end when nothing can be done about it.

They waited 4 days before coming back to do the joint cuts in the concrete walkway. By this time cracks already started forming. It is known that joint cuts needs to be done within 24 hours. Workmanship of the concrete walkway was poor.

Can't help to feel that you get what you pay for.

Overall I am dissatisfied and would not recommend. Pay a bit more for more professional experience. I wish I did.

The team Sahib Concrete performed a side entrance, steps and new windows for my Legal basement project during the past year. Despite the Covid restrictions, they were ready to work & completed the job both efficiently and on time and within the promised budget although there was an increase in the cost of the material due to Covid 19.
I have received very positive feedback from my neighbours and friends about the workmanship and passion for the work done. They are hard workers, very clean, really know what they are doing and made us feel very comfortable knowing they are very knowledgeable in their feild.
I will be hiring them to do the front of my house next year.
