Finished our main floor reno with Avesta Contracting last fall. After struggling to find what we wanted on the market in Aurora, we bought an older home with the plan to do a complete reno. In 2022 we took on the most significant portion of the work - the main floor. With Avesta we removed 2 load bearing walls, completely reworking the layout. Installed a gourmet kitchen, new windows, replaced a window with a glass door, re-worked an existing wood fireplace for gas logs, refinished our stairwell, new flooring... paint... the list goes on. Every interaction with Avesta on the project from quote to completion felt like a partnership - the team brought their best to the table the entire way. We had a pretty solid idea of what we wanted but with Meji's help along the way, the outcome was even better than we had initially hoped for. We'll be partnering with Avesta Contractors on completing the rest of our work over the next couple of years!
