Working with small outfit contractors is always a gamble - and Ruscan Doors reinforces that stereotype.

My grandmother, a woman of 84 years old, hired Ruscan to replace her side entrance door, as well as the interior trim surrounding the door. In good faith - which, as a contractor myself, used to mean something - she paid in FULL and was all but accommodating to each and every one of their excuses along the way. Being an elderly woman with a limited grasp of the english language, she tried her best to be understanding and patient.

After numerous, exasperating phone calls and follow-ups - after 7+ MONTHS of no response and no follow-up (and technically, still counting) - she gave up. Personally, I gave up also - being met with a disinterested clerk who obviously has no grasp of availability of manpower or coordination ability during a phone call - this was the final straw in this FARCE. So, Ruscan Doors, we installed the outstanding items. Feel free to remit payment in lieu of your services.

In summary, when you hear horror stories of work being left half completed by contractors - reference this story. A word to the wise, as well: never EVER pay in full - whether asked or whether in good faith - unless theres a legitimate contract (CCDC or otherwise) in place. The Ruscan Doors executed contract was laughable and all but symbolic.

Thank you to Alex and his team for ensuring that the due date was met for my door order. I had a custom shaped door installed and had it installed just in time for a family function a few weeks ago. The quality that Ruscan Doors delivers is one that cannot be put into words. Reading negative reviews makes me question if they are true ones. Thank you to the team!

Avoid this company at all costs. They take your deposit but fail to deliver on their promises. I really wish I researched them on Homestars before placing a deposit

I've been waiting over 5 months for my door with no updates on the progress. I call every week, only to hear new excuses about production delays, and theres no evidence that my door is even being made. They promise to follow up by the end of the week, but no one ever gets back to me.

They also refuse to schedule appointments to view any progress. Since June, Ive been waiting to see the stain on my door for approval, but they wont allow it.

This company is incredibly dishonest. Don't believe their salespeople. The so-called 8-week production time is a completely false

If my door ever gets installed, Ill update this review. But based on other on Google reviews, even those who had doors installed are dealing with ongoing issues and cant get the company to return for repairs.

We have been waiting almost a year for a door and they took our deposit and are now ignoring our calls and emails. Its a complete joke. Do not put yourself through the same stress and waste of time and go elsewhere. They apparently have our door but wont install it and cant even get the glass done. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS business.

I feel compelled to share my recent experience with RUSCAN DOORS. I must emphasize that it has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I strongly advise avoiding their services if given the choice.

From the onset, our customer service interactions were less than satisfactory. Whether it was dealing with the customer service representatives, the service manager (ARVIN), or even the owners themselves (ALEKS & VLADIMIR), we consistently received subpar support and unprofessionalism.

The workmanship provided by REYNALDO was far below acceptable standards. The poor quality of materials used on our door was evident from the start. Not only did they fail to match the hinges and handle properly, but they also left us with a newly installed door that had a broken handle. Additionally, the caulking used did not match the door color, resulting in an overall unsightly appearance.

To compound matters further, attempting to contact RUSAN DOORS proved to be an exercise in frustration. Our phone calls and emails went unanswered, leaving us feeling ignored and unheard.

Given these circumstances, I strongly caution against engaging their services for any project. It is essential to prioritize finding a reliable and reputable company that can deliver on their promises without causing unnecessary stress or disappointment.

This is the third time Ive used ruscan for my homes. They are very professional, have amazing products, and easy to deal with. They are very good with custom work!

Ordered a custom front door over a year ago while COVID was still in play. It was installed a few weeks after the original install date we agreed on but that was completely understandable given the COVID climate at that time.

The door was as described and of high quality. We have received many positive comments from those that visit our place.

During the install, one of the panels was slightly damaged but not that really that noticeable, never the less, Alex and Rinaldo showed up yesterday to replace the damaged panel. They were quick professional, and left the place clean. All is good.
