BlueKey Design + Build

My title refers to the fact that I still cannot believe how much I love my house, now that BlueKey has been here. I know we ALL started to feel like our houses were a prison, during Lockdown... but there were so many things that already annoyed us, about our house, that it only got worse. So my husband and I made a lost of those things. Ed looked at the list. Now there is nothing that we don't love about the house. It's more OUR hone, instead of the previous owner's. We have dedicated spaces for work, hobbies, much larger/more accessible bathrooms. I cannot wait for spring/summer to take advantage of our new backyard entrance! I'm sure I will spend more time out there, in one week, then I have in the past 8 years. Everyone was friendly and they all went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. We miss having the team come by. Thanks again for giving us OUR home!

We called a few referrals we received from a couple friends. We left a voicemail for one and made an appointment with the other. One did not call back and the other was a no show for a scheduled appointment. We did manage to have the third company provide us with a quote. In desperation, we asked our realtor for their recommendation. They recommended BlueKey and it was literally the best decision we made. BlueKey was absolutely amazing!! No one does what these guys do! They were personable, approachable, funny, and very knowledgeable. I cant get over the amount of care they put into everything they did. Our house was clean and tidy every night before they left and the price was very comparable to the other quote we received but included WAY more extra items than the other company.

From the design process to the final walkthrough, they made the experience so enjoyable. It was so amazing to have an entire team handling every single step of the process. We knew we found the right company when we saw their rendering. It was so realistic, I had to ask twice if it was really a rendering. We asked ourselves, if the quality of their rendering was that good, imagine what our house will look like? We were not disappointed. They knocked it out of the park. Our house seriously looks like something out of a magazine! Between my wife and I, I think we have thanked our realtor a thousand times. We are beyond happy and would highly recommend BlueKey.

We had a great overall experience working with BlueKey. We had our whole house remodelled and it turned out better than we ever imagined. We knew Ed and his team cared from the moment he walked through the door and took a minute to greet our 4-year-old son and our 12-year-old golden. He was well prepared and explained the process from start to finish. The design process was enjoyable. We were able to work with our designer to come up with a rendering we really loved. Gerri took care of dealing with the city and getting the permit. She completed all the necessary paperwork, had us sign and submitted on our behalf.

We were very concerned about how they would navigate the work with everyone at home, but BlueKey made sure to keep us updated with what work was happening on what day by keeping their builders app updated. We LOVED their app. It made our lives so easy. The workers were extremely kind and very professional. Harley had a keen eye for the smallest details and was a perfectionist. We appreciated his OCD. JP and Darren kept us laughing and were great guys. For 5 months, they were like family. They did a quality job, and the end results are beautiful. We did have a couple minor hiccups along the way as any renovation would have, but they were very quick to find ways to resolve those issues and stayed in constant communication with us, so we knew what was being done. We're looking forward to having BlueKey do our next renovation!

Save yourselves the headache and money by skipping to next contractor. He took our money and and never showed up. He asks for down payment and rest when the project is finished. Its opposite. He comes unannounced to gather cash without even finishing the job. Very immature and unprofessional. He send his men to patch instead of fixing it. Didnt help the major issue. Uneven, gaps, and didnt even finish the job. Never answering, making excuses, talking crazy.
