VR Moving

We needed our entire ground floor packed up and stored for a few days while new flooring was installed. Rita conducted a site visit to provide a firm, fixed price estimate and we were reassured by her responsiveness and detailed assessment of our needs. A few days later, the VR team (this is truly a family business!) took exceptional care packing up our large collection of china, crystal and artwork along with our furniture and major appliances. A few days later, after a very successful installation of new floors, our belongings were carefully returned.

The VR team is very professional and it was a joy to meet this family. I would happily recommend VR Moving to anyone looking for peace of mind when it comes to caring for your belongings.

VR moving did a really good job for us. They had 5 people on the job to move us from one house to our new home. They also charged me a flat fee so there were no last minute surprises, no per hour costs, which was great. They're courteous and nice to work with. I would recommend them as a good and reliable moving company to hire.

We used VR moving to move our 600 lb commercial treadmill from our garage to our basement and to remove our old treadmill from the basement. Booking was easy and they were able to accommodate the day we wanted. They were punctual and kept in touch with us leading up to the moving time. The crew were super friendly and hard working. I'm telling you, they aren't just movers they must be engineers. They were able to take my treadmill apart, get it in to the basement and put it back together. This wasn't your regular treadmill. Geniuses!! Not a scratch on the walls, no damage to anything at all. They were amazing! We did have a miscommunication about the disposal of my old treadmill but everything was sorted and they really kept on top of it. Worth every penny! Thanks everyone!

Worked with Rita and team to pack up our house one day, store furnitire for a couple of days and move us to the new house and city a couple of days later. Great care with all our posessions, attention to detail and taking the time to ubderstand our needs. The fact they came to look at our home first and then determine what was necessary gave us confidence and made the project go smoothly. Dedicated, committed and professional! Wonderful people who are hard working, very professional and kind hearted.  They helped us get moved in a timely and efficient manner.  My toddler was around and they treated him so well. They really know what they're doing and are genuinely good people.  They moved us into the house and that night we could relax instead of worrying about setting up bed or furniture. They put everything in the right rooms right away to make our lives easier.  They worked fast and did not leave a mess behind. They went over and above. Highly recommend them. 

After hearing so many horror stories about movers, I was so scared and hesitant to book a moving company for my move. After reading some reviews for V R moving we reached out to them. After talking to Rita on the phone she arranged a video call to review the stuff we wanted moved. Based on what we showed her she gave us a quote. A day or two before moving day she called to confirm the move and time. On the day of the move she called when they were about 10 minutes out. Rita and her team arrived right on schedule. Everything was moved so quick and efficiently. They disassembled whatever needed to be disassembled and rebuilt it all once it was in the proper room. There was no surprise charges or expenses we needed to pay for. I would highly recommend R V moving to anybody looking at moving. They are a profession friendly family owned business.

VRMoving was contacted to quote for a move from Mississauga to London Ontario. Rita schedule an on-site visit to quote and was the only mover to say that 2 trucks would be necessary to move our 4 bedroom house.
VRMoving showed up at the time they stated, with 2 trucks (1 26 ft and 1 28 ft) and a crew of 7. Weather was terrible that day and loading took almost 6 hours.
Some dis-assembly was required. Everything was wrapped in packing blankets and then wrapped in plastic. The trucks were loaded like a Tetris game. On arrival in London everything was unloaded and placed where directed. all items were unwrapped and assembled when/where needed.
Unloading took about 5 hours. They moving team was very courteous, efficient, fast and despite the weather neat and clean. No muss, no fuss.
They then had to travel home to Mississauga. A long almost 16 hr day for them. They did what they said they would do and we could not be happier in our choice of mover. I highly recommend them to anyone moving.
Other quotes will come in a little cheaper, but you'll get dinged by the hourly rates. VRMoving was flat rate, regardless of how long it took to complete the move. All other quotes planned on 1 truck (28 ft) and 3 movers, all at an hourly rate for the truck , they crew and the drive time plus mileage). Some had hours they would not work beyond, and if necessary overnight storage if it couldn't be completed in the one day.
I truly believe that the move if done by another mover would have been double what we actually paid, and would have dragged on over 2 days.
VRMoving is a great mover.
