Jay and Tim of Cardinal were an absolute joy to work with on our renovation in 2019-2020 - which is not something you say every day when living in a house while it is undergoing renovations. They removed and installed drywall and insulation, removed popcorn ceilings, and did level 5 finishing for us on various parts of our house. They also removed a complete ceiling in our drive-under garage, fixed some moldy drywall/stud issues, hauled out the old insulation that had been inhabited with mice (a nasty job, for sure), replaced it with better insulation and gave it a new ceiling with a flat finish. The garage walls and ceiling look 10 times better than they had when built 32 years earlier and is much warmer as well!
During our renos, we had the unfortunate incident of our plumber stepping through the middle of our kitchen ceiling from the bathroom above, only a week after the kitchen had been finished and the ceiling was painted. I’ll tell you; I was rather distraught after having done all the clean up of the dust from the construction and finishing before and just beginning to enjoy a normal kitchen life again. Tim listened to my angst and took on this very disheartening job without a flinch. He did an amazing job of using poly to create a completely enclosed space for himself to work in. He repaired the damage all the way from patching in new drywall to mudding and sanding the finish to blend in with the rest of the ceiling. You cannot tell where he made the repair. And all with no dust and mess. He was so accommodating and cheerful through it, and I really appreciate his taking on this little fix and making it perfect for us. I even took some pictures of him in his poly “tube cell” doing the job as it was truly going beyond and above what many would do.
We are now finished with our journey of renovations. At the beginning we had hired another drywall finishing contractor for our living room. There is no comparison of the kind of finish we got with our other contractor to that we received with Jay and Tim of Cardinal. I just wished we had known about Cardinal before we started and had used them right from the beginning.

Jay not only did most of the interior of our pub he helped G.C. the other trades on a very extensive demolition and build out. We were thrilled with the finished project, and the ease and professionalism of working with Cardinal and their supporting trades. Would happily recommend Cardinal.
