Basement renovation and repairs
We had a basement flood in July 2024.
After struggling with insurance to provide a contractor, we agreed to a cash settlement and connected with Josh to complete the work which consisted of:
1) change floors in our basement
2) replace drywall
3) install heated floors
4) painting
5) change basement vanity and repairs
We found Josh through Homestars where he had good reviews but we were still skeptical.
Josh quickly put our skepticism to rest. While very basic, we heard horror stories about contractors disappearing for months. Each day he would commit to a time he would arrive and he stuck to that.
He also provided us all our options for our repairs and renovations across different price points and never pressured one way or another.
He is honest and reliable and the workmanship speaks for itself. It was all top notch and our basement is now our favourite room in the house.
