Never, never, trust this one!! Nightmare.
This contractor work on my basement renovation project, which is worth 47, 500 CAD.
1, He is playing with me all the time. You never know if he is telling you the truth. The owner Guxxxeet said he ordered windows, drywalls, and hdyro permit. But he did not. He said the windows should be ready in three weeks. After 4 weeks, he said we still need two more weeks. He said the drywall will be onsite Wendesday, but I did not see anything Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. He said he will finish the demolition of fireplace and fix the wall on Friday. He did not show up at all on Friday, Tuesday, Wendesday, Thursday. He wasted my whole week.
2, He charged me over 15000 CAD, 30% of the total contract value, but just finished a minimum work, less than 10%.
3, He cut my waterline randomly and let the water directly pour onto the floor, and leave the leaking waterline for the whole weekend.
4, He never shows up on time. His team either come 3 pm and leave 6 pm, or come 11 am and leave 2 pm. Work no more than 3 hours every time they come. Looks like they crazily switch between sites to manage with minimum staff.
5, His craftmanship is terrible. He left one inch gaps in the wall frames, use wood that has mold, can wiggle frame, put waterproof paper wrinkles everywhere.
6, He does not have PPE, and his crew got hurt and bloody on site, but he has no insurance (he guaranteed he has insurance on my contract).
