Regretting Our Decision to Remove Our First Review – Beware of Provincial Smart Home Services
We initially left a negative review for Provincial Smart Home Services due to numerous serious issues, including the incorrect installation of a hot water system, a malfunctioning furnace, and a heat pump that barely worked. These issues left my fathers home without reliable heat and hot water, even during dangerously cold weather when temperatures dropped below -20°C. With my 11-month-old twins often at his home, the lack of concern for our family's health and safety was alarming.
After posting our first review, the company quickly responded and promised to resolve the issues. Believing they were sincere, we removed our review. Unfortunately, this was a mistake.
Since then, things have only gone downhill. My father was charged $700 for an assessment, with the assurance that the cost would be reimbursed by the government once the results were provided. Despite his repeated calls and efforts to follow up, the company has failed to provide the necessary documentation for the reimbursement. To make matters worse, when he tried to book another service call, they directed him to a web address that didnt even exist.
We are beyond frustrated with the continuous runaround, broken promises, and the overall nightmare that dealing with this company has become. The lack of concern for our familys well-being, especially in such severe weather, is unacceptable.
We deeply regret ever removing our original review and feel it is our duty to warn others. If you are considering doing business with Provincial Smart Home Services, think twice. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and potential risk to your familys safety.
This company has shown a consistent pattern of being unreliable, unresponsive, and unconcerned with the well-being of their customers. We are done dealing with them and strongly advise others to avoid making the same mistake.
