DJ at Aftermath basically took my e-transfer of 2,200 and disappeared.
He made arrangements with me on 4 occasions to come and start work , I would drive there and he would not show up. He took my money and never returned.
I had hired him to help me recover from a flood, my place was gutted.
I am so discouraged, and so close to Christmas.

Unfortunately Cathie your description of the events is not accurate. We pride ourselves in providing exceptional customer service. You had a major flood in your home and we regret the tragic experience. However, your project was an insurance claim that you initiated with your insurance company. After three months of arguing with your insurance company and being relocated by them due the fact that your home was not habitable you contacted Aftermath to assist you. We promptly arrived upon your call, walked you through the very tedious process of an insurance claim, deductibles and adjuster approval of work. Nonetheless you asked that we complete work for you privately and that you would take it up with your insurance company. We performed the small amount of work that you wanted completed by Aftermath and stated the you would continue your fight with your insurance company to complete the total repairs of your home. We are glad to have completed painting work for you but in no way are we responsible for repairs, reconstruction or general contract work as a third party company after a claim file has begun on insurance covered damages. We hope you are able to work out your claim with your insurer. Unfortunately your review description and statements are inaccurate and untrue.
