Our requirement was the removal of a 28-year old fence, part of which was common with a neighboring lot, and replacing it with a cedar structure. The old fence had been severely damaged under the weight of spreading/overgrown vegetation. We proceeded to interview several contractors for a quote. Our initial contacts with prospective companies were frustrating. Some contractors claimed an ability to quote simply on the basis of photographs of the two adjoining backyards, which was unacceptable. Some contractors promised to call back but never did, while some actually showed up albeit several days after our call. In contrast, Eruviel responded by offering to visit within an hour of our call to assess our requirements, since he happened to be in our vicinity. During the visit, Eruviel was most courteous and revealed knowledge, experience and high professionalism. He recommended necessary features for the new fence(s) to minimize maintenance costs and achieve long-term stability. Despite a number of work commitments with other clients, we were impressed with Eruviel’s willingness and readiness to accommodate our pressing request to complete the work within a few days, by offering to work on weekends. His price was very competitive, and we accepted.

After promptly acquiring all necessary fence material, Eruviel initiated removal of the old structure and completed installation of the new fence within a few days as we had requested. Work interruptions were minor and caused only by cold weather and snow, which would have interfered with cement pouring for the fence posts. Eruviel supervised and carried out removal of the old fence and installation of the new fence jointly with his three-men crew. The crew was polite and highly professional. We were impressed with Eruviel’s courtesy and readiness to answer questions we had during (and even after) completion of the work. The new fence(s) turned out beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised when Eruviel offered to add a few solar-powered lights to the top of the poles of the new fence at his own expense! These lights glow charmingly at night. This addition revealed the pride that Eruviel holds for his work, and crowned the fence work with a touch of artistry.
