my problem is that I signed a contract to build a free-standing roof. after signing, he asked for a deposit so we paid. There was a maximum of 7 hours in two days. he drilled holes he put on a board and brought three logs to the roof. It was the last moment we saw him until today. the next day he asked for another payment saying "half of the work is finished" - we paid another one according to the contract. in an interview on Messanger he wrote that it would be the end of the week after Easter. however, he wrote the same to us all the time that he would come - he gave the dates (but he never showed up on the set date). There were many such dates, he always had the excuse that he was doing something else or something had happened. at the time we asked for our money back, he didn't want to return it, saying we were pushing him, with work. And we just wanted our money away, he also wrote that he would give back when the police or the court ordered him.
In accordance with the ontario contract, we have sent the contract cancellation to his address.
To this day, we do not have a free roof finished and he does not speak to us. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY
