Disappointed in the quality of the work in the final concrete retaining wall .
The operation is run by Jesus ,and he has a foreman Eduardo that manages the crew. I had a big project that entailed putting in new retaining walls ,and also to demo an older retaining wall. The problem was that Jesus was never on site and left everything to Eduardo .We has a form that blew out during the concrete pour when the operator was running the vibrator. The forms were not fastened properly and the form blew out and there was concrete everywhere. Eduardo tried to reinforce the form by nailing some extra wood in and using a sledge hammer to try to straighten the form. The end result was that the retaining wall was not even at the top and and required more than 2 inches removed from one end to the other end to make it even. .We only found this out when we hired a fencing company to do a glass rail on top of the retaining wall. I hired a new company to do the repairs, and I asked Jesus to pay for this because we felt that his crew did not have the experience, and also because Jesus was never around to supervise his inexperience crew. Jesus refused to pay for the repairs and wanted to fix this with his crew. At this point I no longer had any confidence in their ability to repair it properly and ended up paying for the repairs out of my own pocket .Very unprofessional ,and disappointed that we could not resolve this issue.
